I had a wonderful time at Hotel Sunbird. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent with all the facilities that one could ask and wish for. Moreover, the location is great and very close to the Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur bird sanctuary) main gate so it hardly takes less than 2 minutes to get to the National Park. The owner - Laxman ji - is a great host and is very passionate about bird photography himself. The staff members are very courteous and go out of the way to ensure you have a comfortable stay especially Dharmender. Highly recommended

I visited this hotel with my family who first of all charged extensively and had no fixed rate for anything, Everyone was trying to make money only. Rooms were also not up to the price paid for. Breakfast had limited options and the worst part was it was unhygienic, the chocos had insects and mouse were freely roaming in the restaurant. This became more painful when we spoke to the manager Mr. LAXMAN SINGH, he was extremely rude and started shouting, had no respect of any feedback for improvement and the customer. This hotel is a big NO, only advantage is the bird sanctuary is nearby but there are many better options in close vicinity.

Laxman ji, the owner was in touch over the phone from the time we made our booking. His staff was expecting us, helped us on arrival and had already arranged a very good guide Ranbir and an e-rickshaw to visit the national park soon after freshening up after arrival. Had a magical 3 hours: afternoon-evening in the park - Ranbir was a fount of knowledge about the park, the birds and the plants n animals there. We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is just 250 metres from the park entrance and has an electric vehicle (ev) fast charging station (Statiq) just outside. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance when we were there, but Laxman ji was very gracious in organising a slow charging facility for our ev within the hotel premises. The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the breakfast.

I have been stayed in this hotel multiple times. This is an excellent place to stay because of its proximity to the park, quality of service and food. The hotel is very professionally managed with attention to small details. The warm welcome on arrival and quick check in process is truly amazing. The rooms are elegant, well appointed and functional. For a photographer the rooms offer plenty of space for your equipment and enough charging points. The owner, Laxman ji, personally interacts with the guests and makes them feel at home. He is extremely knowledgeable about the sanctuary and birds. He is also very knowledgeable about photographic equipment. The food is amazing and reminds one of home cooked food. The dining area is spacious and elegant. As I used to visit the park early in the morning, my breakfast was packed and kept ready at the reception at 6.15 am. This is really great as no photographer would like to miss reaching the park before sunrise (the Sanctuary opens at 6.30 am in winter). There is hot water in the bathroom 24 x 7. The Wi fi is excellent and immediately on arrival you are given a welcome slip with all wi-fi passwords. The entire staff is very well trained and extremely courteous. I was particularly impressed with the ever smiling and helpful manager Mr Dharmendra Singh. He is very positive and helpful. The staff is resourceful and helps you with local transport as well as transport to take you back to Jaipur or Delhi. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Disappointed by the service, especially the dining experience was absolutely horrible. They would not take any order beyond 9:30pm, irrespective of we being having the food on the table… 🤐🤐 similarly the breakfast timings were only upto 9:30 am. The staff seemed to be too basic and unprofessional.
