Property management extremely unprofessional, doesn’t answer calls after you pay to book, denies service animals even when planned ands transparent and willing to leave you stranded in the cold. Many other reviews here seem to be fake or purchased.

Decent room, but extremely expensive. $300 for one night in the cabin, but overall, it felt dirty. There was writing, dirt spots, and scuffs on the wall beside the bed, and the cabin had a weird smell upon first walking in. We had told the manager about the writing and he told us it's been there before. The stained couch looks like it's been taken for free at a garage sale, covered up with a cheap cloth. I did not sit there. There were also broken blinds behind the bed. During our stay, we have tried to communicate our concerns about the room to the lobb Like I said before, it is a decent room, but not for the price. Before looking at the Bear Creek Resort, I'd recommend searching elsewhere.

I am writing to express my extreme disappoin**ent and frustration regarding my recent attempt to book a room at your establishment, Bear Creek Resort. Unfortunately, my experience with your hotel's reservation system and staff has left me deeply concerned about your establishment's compliance with the Fair Housing Act (FHA) when it comes to accommodating individuals with emotional support animals (ESAs). During my attempt to make a reservation, the person I spoke to informed me that he had no knowledge about ESAs and that your hotel doesn't follow the same rules as it does for service animals. I acknowledged that he was correct in stating that ESA regulations are different from those for service animals, but our conversation abruptly ended there. He made it clear that he had no intention of providing further assistance or clarification. His demeanor was extremely rude, and he did not take the time to listen to my concerns or allow me to explain anything. This incident has left me with a strong impression that your hotel's staff is not adequately trained or informed about the laws and regulations governing ESAs. This lack of knowledge and the rude behavior I encountered during this interaction have greatly soured my perception of your establishment. To be honest, I am now reconsidering staying at your hotel, regardless of whether I am accompanied by my ESA or not. Additionally, it appears that there may be other issues within your establishment, as I have come across negative reviews from other guests. I urge you to address this matter promptly by providing proper training to your staff regarding ESA accommodations and ensuring that guests are treated with respect and understanding, in line with the requirements of the FHA. This will benefit individuals with ESAs and enhance the overall reputation of Bear Creek Resort. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I hope that you will take the necessary steps to improve the experiences of guests with ESAs in the future.

Great stay. I plan to stay again when visiting Big Bear.

The cutest little cabin and the property manager was so friendly! Was upgraded for free and loved the experience.

Bear creeks resorts cabin was beautiful and was Private.. the only poor things was the bed but definitely i will come back .

Our cabin was very clean and private. We would most likely stay there again. Great customer service.
