From the moment you arrive to drop your car at the secure parking the level of care and service starts. The staff are all amazingly trained. Little things like “ can you remind me of your room?” makes you feels like they already know you. Good is amazing, particularly the breakfasts. Only a small hotel but one of the best. Can only give positive feedback. Well done to all of the team at the hotel.

What a beautiful hotel, it was like stepping back in time. Felt special as a couple from arriving in the car park and taken over the hotel to the friendliest and stress less check in ever. The staff were amazing nothing too much effort. The suite we had Josephine Parker Suite was wonderful, spacious with the most amazing views. After noon tea was truly wonderful.

Staff genuinely enjoy their jobs, clean friendly, areas of authenticity, we ate at Pilchard Inn as it was so old, breakfast choices good, trip on tractor essential.

We had a wonderful stay to celebrate our 30th anniversary, from the moment we were met at the car park to the end of our stay we were treated so kindly , the staff are all excellent especially the guy that collects you from the mainland and the hotel is beautiful… we stayed in the nettlefield suite ,it is expensive but worth it for the experience… we enjoyed the food but would of liked a more varied menu ,we had no problems with communication or understanding the instructions from the hotel about what to do on arrival .. the weather was bad so we didn’t get to try the sea tractor or the mermaid pool … there are definitely things that could be done better to enhance the experience which I have fed back privately to the hotel via their survey ,.. but overall it was a truly memorable stay .

A wonderful and idyllic location that breaks you away from the modern world. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely and elegant. The staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful, cementing what has been a fantastic stay.

An iconic hotel in a beautiful and unique setting, Burgh Island Hotel offers a window into a more gracious and relaxed holiday era. A pleasurable mix of luxury and comfort, authentic historic a**osphere mixed with contemporary dining choices. Service is taken seriously but delivered with charm. It all makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Burgh Island Hotel is an amazing art deco hotel where the staff can't do enough for you. Our few days spent here were blissful and so relaxing. The food was delicious, our room was very comfortable and I would think every room has wonderful views. The whole experience was one we will definitely want to repeat.
