We stayed in a 1BR unit, it’s very spacious for two people. The sleeping arrangement is a bit unusual with the queen size bed in the living area and 2 single beds in the bedroom. The unit is nice and bright with a pleasant outlook, is clean and has a decent kitchen for quick meal preparation and coffee/tea making. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shops.

The accommodation was wonderful and it had everything we could need. We used the small pool and also the laundry. Some motels charge for the use of the laundry but it was free to use and had washing powder if needed. Simon was great and very knowledgeable and seemed to want all his guests to gain the most from their stay. We hired bikes and did our own wine tour which was great fun. I would recommend this motel

We had a lovely stay here, the units are very comfortable, clean and cozy. Everything you need is right there in the unit. The Etheredge’s are brilliant hosts that make you feel very welcome. Would highly recommend 😊

Beautifully presented room with lovely toiletries and coffee machine and choice of teas etc. The only thing that wasn’t perfect in the room was the tiny bathroom sink! The road it is on was quite noisy and closing the windows didn’t help much!

Very warm welcome, enjoyable stay. Facilities clean and well maintained.
Enjoyed a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.

The owners turn this property from “fine” to outstanding. We were warmly greeted and had a few friendly chats during our stay. Excellent service and consideration of our needs. Thanks everybody!

Simon, the manager/owner was awesome to talk to. He was very friendly and gave us lemons from his lemon tree. The room was clean comfortable and very roomy. I highly recommended the Colonial Motel.

Very clean and comfortable motel unit. Super friendly host. Unfortunately our unit was right by the main road and the traffic noise, especially trucks rumbling past, was really loud and went all night long. Wouldn’t stay here again for this reason.

Situated on the outskirts of town it is still only a short walk to the bars and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen with all you need for a short break. Nice pool area wit sun loungers and the all important BBQ.
