absolute terrible experience. did not take my credit card. wanted cash instead. not enough staff on property. place looked empty. do not recommend to stay here. the service was not good. I ended up booking elsewhere as soon as i got there. its run by one person. front desk person wasnt much help

5/5 all the way. We stayed here for the Somos music festival which took place all around Boca. We were in the panoramic room with jaw-dropping views. The hotel staff were super nice and welcoming of us queer, trans, vivacious group. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We went for mine and my husband’s birthdays. We had 10 adults ranging from 25-63 and 3 kids ages 3-8. It was absolutely beautiful, gigantic and perfect for all of us. Expect that if you don’t rent it all, it’s not going to feel like a normal hotel. It would be more like a bed and breakfast feel where there are people sharing common spaces and more communal. Personally, I’d love that and I love the location. However, if you are expecting something closer to town and wanting to pop in and out of PVR easier- this isn’t for you. This place is for people who want to enjoy the small boat village of Boca De Tomatlán. It’s for people who would enjoy taking a boat taxi to awesome beaches away from all the main PVR beaches. We went to Las Animas. It was perfection. Boca is the best place to get a ride out to see the whales for far less $ and time than an excursion. It’s close to the botanicals and zoo and great little hikes. There are also several restaurants nearby. If you want to get into town or get anywhere, the Villa can set it up for you. The bus runs regularly for very little pesos and a ride to the city was quick, easy, and affordable. However, if you walk 2-5 min down the road, Boca has a small market, a couple of shops and places to eat. Mostly this is a gorgeous escape from the bustle of PVR with easy access to everything PVR has to offer. There are a few specific room areas that can have more privacy and have full kitchens so you do not have to share the main kitchen. Every room has a TV, safe, and fridge. Most had a balcony with incredible views and there were multiple fresh water stations for filling water bottles. The waterfall pool is cold due to lack of sun. However, we enjoyed it. The main pool isn’t warm, but feels great. The hot tub was perfect except no bubbles. We hired a chef for a night and she also grocery shopped for us for the week, which I highly suggest. The AM guard also shopped for ice for us and helped us to organize rides and places to enjoy. They were all so helpful. Based on the communication I had, it seems this experience can be very personalized and as much or as little as you like. All 13 of us would absolutely come back. We’ll miss it.

Impostors! I made a reservation (from May) for August through "FIND HOTEL" platform with cancellation frame and payment until 1 day before arrival. 2 weeks after my reservation, the hotel (not the platform), without any notice or approval, charged my credit card the whole amount, although the deal was to be charged upon arrival. When I decided (by early June and within cancellation frame) to cancel my reservation (since the dates did not suit me) I asked the platform to refund the payment. This is when the adventure begun! The platform informed me that the charge was not made by them, but by the hotel directly and that they would inform the hotel owner to proceed to refund. After weeks and several emails from me and the platform to the hotel...a guy named Fransisco showed up and replied that he couldn't refund the payment to my credit card, since he didn't know how to do it (!!!!....although he very well knew how to charge my credit card 3 months earlier). So I gave him my bank details to make a bank transfer. 10 days passed still no sign of refunding! After that I realised that I had to deal with impostors providing all kinds of excuses so as to avoid refunding and after reading similar experiences from other clients who faced the same problem with them...I decided to proceed to my bank so as to dispute the transaction. As soon as I informed Mr Fransisco that I proceeded to my bank to be refunded, since I didn't trust him anymore, he found a new excuse to delay the refund, claiming to be insulted. The platform - all these months - did nothing else but sending him reminding mails, asking him to honour the deal (so don't trust them) Finally, I was refunded, solely due to the action of my bank. It is really shameful a business that wants to be called "luxurious" to behave that way to tourists, disregarding in such a provocative way deals and partnerships. By the way, while being in Puerto Vallarta in August (of course staying at other more reliable premises) I passed by the spot....and thank God I didn't stay there...the whole place is - honestly -a mud hole..very far away from the center....the pictures are misleading!

This was the worst trip EVER! This place is NOT a hotel, the pictures are a total lie, there is no service, there is no where to go unless you rent or have a car there. There are people living there at the same time, cooking in the kitchen, etc which is ok but it’s not a hotel. As a guest you have no options to eat or to buy nearby, my family and I went there for my fathers 60th birthday… we were scared as people were using ***** in the entrance of the house to go to the beach and there is a lock that is closed so you cannot use it to close the door, you can see the pictures here. We stayed there one night because we had nowhere to go and changed hotels the next day really pissed off. As I left and told everything to the owner he was really rude and started yelling at me and my father. I forgot to write a review then and found this hotel today looking for something else, and I really want to save someone from the awful experience we had 🙏🏽 This was like a horror movie, fortunately now we can laugh about that strange trip! Be careful

really enjoyed the personal attention, gorgeous decor and lovely views from our suite. gorgeous town too. coffee on the balcony, walk down to the beach thru town, great swim and back to the room to a great shower.

Muy mal servicio, las mucamas son unas groseras y flojas, no hacen el aseo, y todavía tienen el cinismo de decir que no van a entrar a limpiar y yo de buena onda les dije que no había bronca que no pasaran a limpiar, y todavía ir una mancha de café la hacen de tos cuando tuve que rogarles porque me cambiaran las toallas, en la vida recomendaría este lugar; la dísque cascada no sirve y son unas señoras groseras, la servidumbre asquerosa y floja, nada recomendado

Cuidado!!! Realice una reservación en marzo de 2022 dejando un anticipo de 50 porciento a 3 meses antes del viaje de la nada cancelan la reservacion.. mi viaje iba a ser en septiembre en junio le mandan un aviso a mi hija q le devolverían 8,000 por disminuir días de estancia..mi hija rechaza la petición y a la hr...le avisan q el anfitrión cancelo la reservación...cuidense de esta gente irresponsable porq así como son de informales para las reservas pueden serlo con tu hospedaje...pero les agradezco la cancelación hemos encontrado un destino más bonito q lo q hay en este disque villa de lujo....gente mañosa y aprovechada ...OJO con los anfitriones...
