Mercure Hotel Bonn Hardtberg

Otel iş seyahatim için iyiydi. Bonn'a oldukça uzak. Oda geniş ve temizdi ancak mobilyalar biraz eskiydi. İyi servis ve lezzetli bir kahvaltı.

Yatak odalarının hijyen seviyeleri halıdaki lekeler nedeniyle zayıftı. Yatak, çift kişilik yatakta tek kişilik yorgan bulunan yatak için çok küçüktü. Otel çok yorgun ve dağınıktı. Yüzme havuzu boş ve pisdi. İnternet sitesinde yer alan otel fotoğrafları maalesef gerçeği yansıtmamaktadır.

Muhtemelen en zehirli çalışma ortamı, aksi takdirde personel bu kadar nefret dolu olmazdı. Ben ve müşterilerim, akşam yemeği için dışarı çıkmadan önce lobi barda biraz içki içmeye karar verdik ve Barmen Aidin bize servis yaptı ve ardından hızla içkilerimizi içtik ve akşam yemeğine doğru yola çıktık ama o bizi kapının eşiğinde durdurup "sen" dedi. faturayı ödemedik" bu doğruydu çünkü bunu tamamen unutmuştuk.. Ondan muhtemelen 10 kez özür diledim ve faturayı ödemek için lobiye geri döndük ama o şöyle konuşuyordu: "Sen bir yetişkinsin ve bunu yapmamayı öğrenmelisin" "Parayı ödemeden git" dedim ve şaka yaptığını sandım bu yüzden bir şey söylemedim ama o hala Almanca konuşuyordu ve hiçbir şey anlamadım.. Onun kabalığını umursamadım ve görmezden geldim, 11 avroluk faturayı ödedim ve oradan ayrıldım. akşam yemeği için otele.. 2 saat sonra otele geri döndük ve müşterilerimle biraz daha içki içmek istedik, bu yüzden lobide oturduk, içkilerimizi sipariş ettik ve aynı garson, Aidin, elimizdeki hesapla içkilerimizi servis etti ve ben de " Lütfen bunu da hesaba ekler misiniz çünkü daha uzun süre oturacağız ve bir tane değil, daha çok içki içeceğiz. yani onun yerine tek ödeme yapabilirim" dedi. Reddetti ve "şimdi ödemelisin çünkü ödemeden masandan kalkmamayı öğrenmelisin o yüzden şimdi ödüyorsun, sonra değil" dedi. Bunları açıkça gözümün önünde anlattı. müşteriler ve bardaki herkes ve biz konuşurken açıkça daha kabalaşıyordu. Ne zaman içki sipariş etsek bardaki diğer misafirlerin aksine bana hemen ödememi söylüyordu ve daha da kötüsü ona birkaç kez telefon etmek zorunda kalıyorduk. Masamızı kasıtlı olarak görmezden geldiği için sipariş verme zamanı geldi.

We were part of a coach party visiting Christmas markets in Koln and Koblenz. This hotel clearly is geared towards the business trade rather than tourist’s because of where it is situated and the car park was somewhat challenging for our coach driver. The restaurant does not open in the evenings at weekends so factor that in if you are staying during those times. Once armed with that information and you are prepared then you should enjoy your stay here. The hotel itself is clean, warm and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and so accommodating - particularly Erij and Kay who helped us out immensely on the Saturday night helping us order takeaway meals that were delivered to the hotel and enabling us to eat them at the bar. We found our room to be very comfortable and quiet - the housekeeping staff do an amazing job. The breakfasts are lovely and there is plenty to choose from. (I have to add that the hotel did have a meal ready for us on the Friday evening when we arrived but that was because it was agreed that we all paid in advance. Thank you to the catering staff for putting on a great spread and for coming in on your night off!)

Probably a toxic working environment for the employees as the bartender Aidin ruined our stay in the hotel with his rudeness. He is literally bullying hotel guests. We had 2 beers at the lobby bar and forgot to pay 11.EUR bill and headed out for the dinner but he stopped us at the doorstep to for the payment and I really don’t remember how many times I apologised but he was like “you should learn not to leave your table before paying.. you shouldn’t be served until you pay i.. etc etc” and I thought he was joking. We returned back to the hotel after dinner and sat in the lobby to talk with my clients and asked more drinks and he came to the table and he was still talking.. clearly said “you shouldn’t leave your table and you will learn to stay until you pay your bill” in front of my clients and everyone else in the bar.. ı said “please add our drinks to the bill and I will pay at once” but he rejected and said “no you will pay now, not later” and everytime he served us he forced me to pay upfront unlikely the other guests. Never seen such a rude person in my life and he made my clients left the hotel! Unbelievable

The hotel is nice and clean but that’s where the good parts end. I traveled in a group of friends all having our own room. They all had fridges with complimentary drinks and coffee machines. Me and two others had neither. We all paid the same so it’s not a price issue. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Then the staff, not helpful at all. I was quite shocked. I waited 20 minutes to buy a bottle of coke from the “ market place “ ( a vending machine that only reception can open ) they ignored me whilst typing and not actually dealing with a customer. Charged me 3.20 then literally asked a member of staff to open the bar as a new guest fancied a drink. Surly instead of making me wait 20 mins for my drink you could have just done the same and I would have ordered from the bar. We didn’t actually get a single evening meal as the restaurant is closed by 9pm and you must be there from 7:30 ( our plans made this impossible) but when we asked if we could book for tomorrow they said no we have to do it on the day which made no sense. I am not happy at all and will most likely book elsewhere in the future. For context we are all in our 40s and came here catch up with old friends from school. We are not in our twenties and out boozing. Breakfast was good. For what we paid ( quite a lot ) I have had better stays in Premier inn. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

The young front staff was unfriendly. The hotel system and ********** don't seem to be compatible. There is a problem with the noise from the hallway being heard in the room.

This hotel is not close to Bonn; city centre bit of in the middle of nowhere , no access to food or shops. The longest checkin was at this hotel if they take this long they should provide a chair as checkin takes ages for one person. Hotel was not busy at all. It is a bit of dated hotel, no room service, restaurant closes at 9pm limited choices. The room was basic no fridge and ask for amenities. The bed was a strange low bed, not European standard with thin layer of sheet and duvet. No taxi service available if or airport pick up. Just did not seem 4* experience at all. No Accor member benefits. ( no water provided). Breakfast- basic but at least some vegetarian options and some labelled and some not. Checkout was a lot smoother and done well by the staff.
