Good place for families and school classes, but not for solo travellers staying in dorms. Might be okay for a night, and that's what many people did there. The key advantage of this place is the proximity to the train station and Flixbus stop (right outside the door). But, this place needs to decide if it wants to be a budget hotel, student accommodation, or hostel. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm. The room was very small; there was no storage space. There were 4 small lockers, the type typically used in kindergartens. They will hold a laptop and a few small items, but nothing more. Bring your own padlock. The lockers looked like anybody could kick them open, so I had to rent one of the secure lockers downstairs for 5 EUR per day. You need to renew the lease each day, which is annoying because you need to keep track of when your 24-hr rental expires. There is no way to keep the same locker to avoid moving your belongings each day (you will be assigned a different one, even though yours is technically available) or to rent it for more than 24 hours. The room had a bunk bed and 2 single beds, a little desk, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. Ensuites work well for families, but not strangers who have different schedules. Ultimately, the first one to get up and last one to go to bed will wake up the whole room. There is no way around it. The two single beds were so close together that it seemed like sharing a double bed with a stranger and on occasion you may actually have their feet in your bed. Not great. The room was also incredibly filthy and smelled of BO, vomit, and curry. The international student living there had her clothes all over the place and dirty underwear on the towel drying rack in the bathroom. Once she moved out, the smell disappeared with her. Cleaners should monitor this. Up until the girl moved out, I assumed the cleaners didn't clean... There were also a couple of occasions when I found dirty footprints on my bed and long, black hair in my bed - I'm blonde. It looks like somebody was using my bed while I was out and about. Staff kindly gave me fresh sheets. Getting any sleep was difficult at this place due to the type of people staying there and new guests arriving late at night. Phones were going off at all times at night, people watching TV on their laptops until 3 am without using headphones, or lights being left on all night. A suggestion to the hotel here: Update your house rules to address hygiene and remind students of quiet times, or place them in separate rooms, as is done in other hostels. Travellers and students have different needs and both would be happier sharing a room with like minded people. As for the social aspect of the place, there was no vibe there. Definitely more of a hotel than hostel. For travellers, there were a few useful facilities, such as a small kitchen with a microwave, kettle, and cooking area. There is also a washer and dryer downstairs, but the washer is not cleaned regularly, meaning it's smell
