The Tudor Hotel

Warm welcome at check in and all the staff we encountered were lovely and very friendly. Our room (14) was furthest away from reception and meant lots of stairs (up and down) and little corridors all in keeping with this very old building (I think it was built in the 1600’s). Lovely en-suite room. We had dinner and breakfast here and both meals were delicious. They made fresh fruit salad at breakfast, much nicer than the tinned version you may encounter at other establishments. They’re undergoing a programme of redecoration but it is very clean and tidy.

The hotel is in keeping with its age maintained well but obviously creaky stairs etc the rooms are spotless with everything you could expect the receptionist when we arrived was very friendly & informative so helpfull in all aspects we ate at the restaurant which was STUNNING the food was well presented cooked perfectly and waitress was super efficient and friendly the breakfast in morning was just as good quality and waiter just as pleasant. The downside for me is BRIDGEWATER its self 😟 nothing in town centre except for charity vape and barber shoos SUCH a shame I'm sure at sometime this was a thriving town.... THIS IS THE ONLY reason we WONT be going back to the bar/hotel

Just had a fab one night stay here. We had room 1 was was lovely, spacious and felt historical. Parking is a problem you could only park on the street outside the hotel for 30 minutes unless you arrived after 6pm (no restrictions on a Sunday). We stayed in an NCP carpark about a 5 minute walk away it only cost £3.95. The breakfast was lovely and it's a few doors down from a Wetherspoons. We would definitely stay here again.

Old creaky floorboard rooms - lots of stairs - no lift - good location - staff are excellent - next door restaurant excellent too. Very helpful in finding a way to help weary travellers. Try the steak ale pie, garlic mushrooms, and snickers cheescake - yumm!

Earbuds at bedside are a clear indication that you'll not get any sleep whatsoever here. An absolute disgrace. Try get a refund , night porter , waitress , all have a different story , the director will be in tomorrow, maybe on their yacht somewhere, Trading standards and BBC radio 4 .you and yours ...

fabulous stay at the tudor hotel. we arrived early but we're able to check in. the lady on reception kindly took us to our rooms. the room was lovely. clean cosy with lovely toiletries. we went out for a few drinks and asked for recommendations on good restaurants and we're told the tudor hotel was the best. we weren't disappointed. the meal was superb and service prompt. breakfast in the morning was amazing. absolutely fabulous. a huge thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay

This was our second stay at The Tudor Inn....almost a year to the day. We loved it so much on our first visit, we decided to spend our Anniversary weekend there. You will never find a more welcoming, friendly hotel. Its a lovely, higgledy piggledy hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they are so happy and friendly. The food is an absolute must, beautifully cooked and so tasty....We had dinner, lunch and breakfasts...so much to choose from, everything you could possibly want. You also have the bonus of BAR27 attached, great fun and, again, great staff !! If I was on Four In A Bed, The Tudor Inn would be +10's across the board.....Fantastic stay and we'll be back !!

Stayed one night. Receptionist and breakfast staff were very polite. We had dinner on Monday evening which was very quiet, we had the option to eat in the bar next door which we did but the vibe felt a bit awkward as it's primarily a club. Room was very warm with no aircon and the shower took around 5 minutes to get hot water and then ran out completely when my partner showered a few minutes after. Breakfast has a big selection including vegetarian and vegan. Rooms are quite old fashioned with some modernisation.

The Tudor is our place to stay and eat in Bridgwater The rooms are always clean and comfortable nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff always happy to help. Breakfast’s are amazing as is the food in the restaurant. A great mix of age groups and the staff always bubbly and helpful. Never had a bad meal in all the times we have been. Can not wait to return
