Great location with very good staff and amenities very clean and well maintained Definitely coming back. Staff very caring and helpful. The pool and bbq area really good. Very close to Pacific Fair and Broadbeach area can walk to everywhere

We've stayed for 4 nights in Feb 2024 with our family, with 2 kids. + Excellent location next to the beach and everything Secure car park Pools are great for kids with easy access BBQ next to the pool is awesome We really appreciated all the things for kids in our appartment : games, books, plastic cutleries & plates, prams and cot. - Only one car space for the appartment. Not convenient when you travel with 7 persons with 2 cars. No elevator to access to the appartments. Appartment really need maintenance as there was mold on the kitchen wall. Appartment was not very clean. Dust in all rooms. One big issue was the window blinds. All bed rooms were too bright because of the sun early morning. Everyone was up so early because of that. Please add blackout curtains to all rooms. This is not good equipment.

3.5 stars Diamond Beach Resort is a hit and a miss. Their Deluxe rooms are only required to have their bathroom renovated so do not expect much more than a standard room. In fact, we travelled with friends who didn’t have a deluxe room and their room was more modern apart from not having an oven and having an older looking bathroom. The outside yellow is dated. But; that’s where the negatives stop. This place is perfect for families! Two big pools, a kids pool, two spas and access to bbq’s right next to them. It’s a wonderful set up and we will likely return just because of this. The groundskeeper/maintenance man is visible every morning getting things ready for the day. That man deserves a raise! He was awesome. Fixed an issue we had in a matter of seconds with no fuss. The rooms really do need a proper upgrade but our children loved Diamond Beach Resort and it felt safe. Just a short walk to the beach in the morning was wonderful.

Older style resort is very good for families - big pools, big B-B-Q, children’s play area, very tight security, good size clean apartment, good hot water supply and pressure, as are available at many other Gold Cost resorts but no lifts to reach 2nd or 3rd floor apartments. However it was the greeting we received upon arrival that set the tone for my review. Not particularly friendly greeting - when booking, as I sometimes do when the occasion is relevant, I mentioned that we were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary and that our son and family were holidaying from Japan. No acknowledgement whatsoever compared to previous instances where the property management has offered congratulations, a welcome to overseas visitors, and even gifted a bottle of wine or chocolates or in a previous instance upgraded our accommodation to a much higher level. But the most noticeable aspect was the 200ml of milk provided in the fridge along with a limited supply of tea and coffee provisions (our party consisted of 4 adults and 1 child staying for 4 nights). When receptionist was approached for some additional milk, we were informed that was all that was provided but we could purchase a carton of milk for $4 ($1.60 at supermarket). In all our previous holidaying and traveling we have never experienced such limited supplies. Obviously a standard situation here as the in-room notes states that "your first cup of coffee is on us". First cup out of a 4 night stay. Also don’t expect free wi-fi ($15/day), available free at so many other alternatives these days, unless you are an Accor member (luckily I am). We have been associated in the past with the accommodation/travel industry and know from experience that attention to detail for individuals can be very rewarding. It is a pity that management at this resort takes such a penny-pinching attitude when compared to other accommodation establishments in the area, when a few cents spent would have been rewarded with a much higher rated review. We stayed in a 3 bedroom property, it was clean, comfortable and the pools were great! Our door battery died and we were locked out at 10 pm so we contacted the after hours service and were back inside within 10 minutes. It’s our 11th visit and we will definitely be back, amazing service, pools and great location to restaurants, beach and shops!

Stayed in Room 21, a 3 bed deluxe apartment. Handy if you have elderly or physically impaired guests, as the Resort is 3 levels with no Lifts. Very comfortable and great pool areas for people with kids. Only gripe was the internal floors in the Apartment were sandy/gritty underfoot.

Location is great, Resort is great. Holiday was great 👍 You can stay all day at the resort, or stroll down the street for a coffee or walk 100 metres to the beach. What more could you want for a relaxing holiday. Our 10th stay and can't wait till our 11th.

Unfortunately the good location and size of the pool is completely overshadowed by the fact that My Husband, 9 year old son and 2 year daughter contracted severe staph infection. My daughter in particular has sores over her entire body that need dressing changes everyday from general practice nurses. The room we stayed in was a good size but not clean (surface level clean only), especially the showers. I think it is with grave importance that they review their cleaning procedures in the rooms as well as the pool conditions before I would consider going back.

Awesome pools and great location but tired, broken, dirty and run down rooms. Dishwasher had broken bits, door locks broken, curtains don't block the 5am sun, bathroom and kitchen grout is black dirty, chairs on their last legs, at times it felt like everything was at the end of its life.
