Belvidere Place

Just wanted to say what an absolute delight to stay at Belvidere Place. Peter's attention to detail was amazing. The gluten free breakfasts were top class. Our room (no. 7) was beautifully decorated and we had all we needed. We are looking forward to another stay!

The host Peter is attentive. His attention to detail is impeccable. I appreciate how he and his team make everyone feel at home. He and his team are thoughtful in breakfast choices of the guests. I enjoyed the newspapers choices to read in the morning. The rooms are kept well and with care.

This is a truly gorgeous treat of a BnB. We visited in the Autumn so when we weren't enjoying the restaurants, cinema and coastal walks of Broadstairs (which are all lovely) we enjoyed reading by the fire, as there is a fantastic collection of books, and Peter's amazing breakfasts.

We spent two nights in Broadstairs last weekend. We wanted to stay somewhere really special to celebrate my husband's birthday and also the end of his treatment for cancer, and we couldn't have made a better decision in choosing Belvidere Place. Our host Peter was very welcoming and had lots of recommendations for dining out and walks. I absolutely love dark decor so felt right at home with the property's moody palette. Peter has decorated with a combination of modern convenience and quality vintage pieces. The bed, sofa and armchairs in our room were incredibly comfortable, the towels were of amazing quality, and there were lovely toiletries. The hospitality tray in our room was generous, with water jug, ground coffee and a small cafetiere, loose leaf tea and teapot, a full packet of shortbread and some pieces of fruit. Nothing was too much trouble for Peter, who was charming and made a point of coming out to have a friendly word whenever he heard us departing or returning. By the end of our stay and many chats together we felt we'd connected with a kindred spirit. My husband has to limit his caffeine at present and Peter happily provided decaf ground coffee and tea in our room and at breakfast. The breakfasts were, quite simply, the best we've had in many years - top quality ingredients and different dishes beautifully prepared by Peter each day, after consultation with us. Vintage crockery and cutlery, proper cloth napkins, and gentle background music added to the enjoyment. A selection of newspapers was available in the breakfast room, and we were offered more coffee and toast. We cannot recommend Belvidere Place highly enough - a truly memorable stay and we will definitely return.

A lovely boutique hotel. It's designed beautifully, has lovely rooms, an elegant downstairs salon and back garden. Peter who runs it is a charming and affable host. Served a superb breakfast. The hotel doesn't have a sea view but is just 1 minute from the front. Everything is impeccably clean and shiny. We went there on one of the hottest nights in Broadstairs history and it still passed with flying colours. Lovely collection of books and even The Paris Review !!! Go here, book lunch in the Jetty bistro and you'll be ok.

What a wonderful find , Absolutely Stunning Boutique Hotel two steps from the lovely Broadstairs Beach . Accommodation is beyond stunning .This is true Boutique Style . Lovely Large Bedroom Magnificently decorated , in lovely colours . A wonderful nights sleep , in true comfort .Nowhere else , will You find a Host like Peter .He looks after Your every need , Peter serves up beautifully prepared breakfasts , and spend a quiet Evening at one of Broadstairs many restaurants and pubs , and then a Brandy in Peters beautifully furnished and decorated Lounge , all in matching deep blue colours throughout the hotel , the consistency of colour throughout its really nice . What else is there to say ,if You are looking for true comfort in boutique Hotel Style , then look no further than The Belvedere . Thanks Peter . Craig Hancocks

What a treat Belvidere Place was. Our host was gracious and his breakfast was truly delicious. The decor is delightful, the bed was super comfortable and the room contained lots of thoughtful touches. We had a relaxing stay in this charming and characterful B&B and hope to visit again.

place brings you back in time and has the perfect location as well as provides exactly what you need for a positive stay in brugge! The rooms are large and homy and I would highly recommend to stay. thank you to the kind staff for welcoming us to such a beautiful stay and city!

What a great location to base yourself while in Bruges. The staff were amazing and friendly. We were in room 5 which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever return to such a lovely and historic place.
