Rentbynight Aparthotel

The location is great with a short walk to the Grand Place and wonderful restaurants, shopping. The apartment needs a lot of work, unfortunately. We had two bedrooms with a kitchen, toilet, separate from shower. The beds were soft and just one duvet comforter. Room next to the street was noisy until the early morning with paper thin walls. No closet in either room. Both rooms were clean. The toilet room was in a tiny space so small you had to sit at an angle to fit in and then hit your head getting up, The shower was also small and the shower door did not seal so water leaked on the floor. The kitchen was gas stove but why cook or watch tv when there are so many great restaurants around? The walls needed a new coat of paint.

THUMBS UP! We were a party of eight, 6 adults and 2 children and we stayed 5 nights. We booked two x 4 person apartments. The apartments exceeded our expectations and we rate it as very very good. They were clean, well-furnished and very well equipped. The beds (1 x double in each bedroom and 2 x single in each living room) were exceptionally comfortable. The location within three minutes of the Grand Place and less than ten minutes form the Central Station was brilliant. We were very impressed with the customer service - there were a few minor issues which were promptly rectified when I reported them. If we return to Brussels we will try to rebook with Rentbynight Aparthotel.

La logistique est un peu complexe puisque la chambre ne se trouvait pas à l'adresse rue des Bouchers mais rue des Éperonniers, à cinq minutes à pieds. Il faut donc récupérer la clé dans une boîte (avec code) à la première adresse puis se rendre à la seconde. Le logement lui-même est assez grand, ce qui est agréable. Situé idéalement dans le centre historique de Bruxelles, non loin de la Grand Place (on peut même apercevoir la tour de l'Hôtel de ville par la fenêtre) et de la gare Centrale. Le logement est propre mais côté murs, sols, plinthes, fenêtres, etc. tout est assez vieux et usé. À noter par exemple que les fenêtres (simple vitrage) qui donnent sur la rue ont des carreaux manquants remplacés par des plaques de plastique souple translucide qui ne sont vraiment pas du meilleur effet (et qui laissent perplexe quant aux capacités d'isolation sonore et thermique). Autre point négatif : Matelas plutôt dur pour le lit du salon, confort passable dirons-nous. Autre point négatif (2) : la température de l'eau de la douche est capricieuse (plusieurs minutes sans eau chaude sans trop de raison). Point positif : cuisine assez bien équipée. Hors de l'appartement, je note la cage d'escalier très exiguë, raide et sans main courante, ce qui n'est vraiment pas pratique (surtout avec des bagages) voire un peu dangereux.

La posizione è invidiabile, peccato che non si è dormito fino alle 3'30 essendoci praticamente sotto i letti un locale con musica live. Letti comodi, cucina inutilizzata, macchina caffè non vi aspettate espresso i cialde, è un alambicco per caffè all'europea filtra acqua che si colora. Lavastoviglie senza manopola ho preferito non usarla. La doccia accettabile, lavandino micro per uomini di oltre 180 cm, il wc separato all'interno di un loculo con grandi difficoltà di adattamento e senza lavandino per lavarsi le mani post utilizzo... Pensa quante mani toccano la maniglia. Riscaldamento da poter utilizzare a piacimento. La TV non funzionante e nemmeno istruzioni troppe doppie prese non a norma abbiamo rinunciato. Qualche ragnatela.

Sicuramente è consigliato per la sua posizione centralissima, sei ad un passo da Grand Place, nel cuore di Bruxelles e a poca distanza dalla stazione centrale. Nei pressi ci sono tutti i tipi di locali che puoi immaginare, uniche pecche, pulizia un po' carente, mobili molto datati, e nel nostro caso TV inutilizzabile, anche se serve a poco perché sei sempre in giro, ma nel complesso qualità prezzo sicuramente consigliato.
