I cannot stress enough how utterly disgusted and appalled I am by my recent stay at the studio flat booked through *******. Despite the seemingly good deal and positive reviews, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an old, decrepit apartment block and a rickety, terrifying elevator that should have been a warning sign. However, we decided to give it a chance, assuming the studio would make up for it. But our hopes were dashed when, in the dead of night, my husband was attacked by a cockroach leaping onto his head. To our horror, we discovered several more of these vile creatures lurking around the door frame. As someone with allergies to dust and insects, I was left feeling deeply uncomfortable and unsafe. Unable to bear another moment in that filth-infested nightmare, I had to make an emergency booking at the Moxy hotel, costing us an additional £200. Despite reaching out to ******* for assistance, the so-called manager of the studio flat showed zero willingness to address the issue, leaving us to settle for a mere £25 credit. It's beyond comprehension how such a place could even be allowed to operate, let alone deceive unsuspecting guests with false promises and positive reviews. My attempts to communicate with the manager were met with silence, further highlighting their complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I urge anyone considering booking this studio to steer clear at all costs. It's not worth risking your health and sanity for a few pounds saved. *******, as the intermediary, should take more responsibility in ensuring the quality and safety of accommodations listed on their platform. Save yourselves the trouble and avoid this place like the plague.
