Nice place strange staff bit faulty towers we got a full 20 minutes of induction down to how windows work and how lights turn on very OTT the breakfast pre order menu was well over the top I would take a guess at 100+ items ??? Far too much could really do with some music at breakfast it was like eating in a library

What a wonderful guesthouse. Fully vegetarian and as a meat eater initially I was a bit disappointed. However, there certainly wasn’t any need to have been as the food on offer was absolutely delicious. Our room was excellent with very spacious with four poster, table and chairs, mini fridge and a bowl of fresh fruit. nice bathroom and spotlessly clean.

We had a 2 night stay in this beautifully presented, comfortable, lovely guesthouse. Very warm welcome from the friendly owner who could not have been more helpful. Huge choice for breakfast and large portions that nearly defeated us! The room had everything we needed and the place was immaculate. Only a short walk into Buxton. Highly recommend for a very pleasant stay.

Don’t look any further for a perfect stay in Buxton. You’ll be warmly greeted by the very informative and humorous Vol on arrival, enjoy the best breakfast imaginable cooked to order by Vol’s wife and be situated within a very short walking distance of restaurants, pubs in ‘higher Buxton‘ and the charming Buxton centre just a few minutes further away. The downstairs sitting room and staircase landing are tastefully decorated in the style befitting the house and the rooms offer far more than expected. Our four poster bed was so comfortable, the fluffy towels and bathrobes and slippers a very welcome touch, as were the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Not to mention a bowl of fresh fruit, fridge full of still and bottled water plus tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits provided. All in all a perfect stay - will definitely return.

Amazing b&b with free parking on site The rooms are so spacious and have lots of little extras like shampoo/ conditioner shower gel ect. The breakfast is a pre order the night before and one of the best breakfast I've have in a long time at a b&b all cooked fresh and to perfection. The host is extremely friendly and couldn't do any more for you thank you for a lovely stay.

I cannot recommend this accommodation enough. It exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic, short walk into Buxton where we went shopping, had a meal, watched a performance in the Opera House. No need to drive anywhere. The hosts were super friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make the stay top notch. The bed was super comfortable, didn't wake once. The facilities in the room were excellent. Nice to have a tea and biscuit before bed. The breakfast was out of this world. It felt like a bottomless breakfast, the portions were very big and the quality was again, superb. We cannot wait to go back.

Beautifully simple and excellent service. We arrived very early and left the car whilst exploring Buxton. Quick check in later on and lovely room with four poster bed and everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing (vegetarian) and plentiful portions. Perfect spot. We did a foodie mystery tour of Buxton and Kingscroft was within east reach of everything we visited. Excellent all round.

Excellent place to stay, nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Breakfast perfect, only negative (I can't believe I'm saying this) was there was too much in both portion size and choice! Bed extremely comfortable, with every detail thought of. Thank you for making us so welcome.

Definitely the best Guest House I have ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean and sensitively decorated in line with the beautiful architecture and age of the property. Wonderful host and great service. Ample amount of water both still and sparkling available in the fridge in the room and an excellent selection of fresh fruit too. Breakfast choice was lovely and definitely ample. It was also vegetarian.
