Very clean, right downtown. Hot shower in a quiet location. Check in went smoothly once I read that the check in is not where the room was located, my bad.

We're staying in the Grand Park hotel, where we always stay during our holidays. On Friday, we needed to see the vet for our cat, that we brought with us to the hotel, because she wasn't feeling well for the last 2 days and seemed like she was ill. We called the vet, and he told us to come to the clinic immediately but we only had ten minutes left, before they would close . We didn't know the way and we needed someone to drive us with our car to the clinic quickly. When we got to our car, we asked for help at the reception but no one took their time to help us, except Rikardo, who was very kind and helpful, as he was the only one to take his time to drive us there, ”saving us” in that stressful situation. When we arrived at the vet, he helped carry the cats cage to the waiting room, where he waited with my daughter until the cats examination was finished, then drove us back to the hotel. The location is really good. The old town, the amphitheater, the Arc de Triomphe, the temple, and the pier are all within 500 to 1000 meters on foot. However, there is no elevator, so you carry heavy bags up to the second floor. do. It was 8:00 in the morning, so I went down for breakfast, but there was nothing prepared and I waited for more than 10 minutes, so the manager came out and said that this was breakfast, with 3 slices of bread, an egg and cheese omelet, and coffee. Do other hotels offer this as well?

The hotel commands a stunning position on St Andrews island, which is a short boat ride from Rovinj old town. The views are just beautiful. The public areas of the hotel are modern and spotlessly clean. Rooms are cleaned everyday and clean towels provided, if so desired. Rooms are adequate, bright and airy. However, the bathroom could do with updating albeit exceptionally clean. The breakfast choice was good but a little crowded at times. We had lunch in the Italian, the food was rather bland with not much flavour and not hot enough. The snack bar by the main pool served pizza’s/salads/burgers which were very good. There is ample room around the pool and there are sun beds on the pebbly/rocky beach. (You need sea shoes, as its very uncomfortable getting in and out of the sea). The pool area is spotless and the big pool was lovely to swim in. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful however there were a couple who were rather officious. What we loved the most was getting dressed up and getting on the boat to go over to the old town every night for dinner. The boat goes on the hour and on the half hour coming back. It is free for hotel guests. There is an abundance of restaurants to choose from in Rovinj - you are spoilt for choice some more expensive than others. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, purely for its location and beautiful views.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with oversized balconies. The hotel has a variety of facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas, gyms, SPA, etc., while looking at the sea and the forest, it is actually very suitable for a few days on vacation. We left for one night after visiting Rovinj and it was a pity

I stayed at this hotel with my family and found it to be a unique experience and enjoyable experience. There are no cars or roads on the island, it probably takes around 1 hour to walk the circumference of the island, there is a footpath to help make this easier. The island has it's own beach area which doesn't have any natural shade from the sizzling summer heat, so most people relied on parasols or the trees in the beautiful park area just before the beach. The swimming pool is large and was fun to use, because of the design, we spent a lot of time there. I should add, the view from the island, of the mainland, is fantastic, especially at night when the mainland lights come on. Unfortunately, the island does not have enough lighting of its own for night walks, which was disappointing. I found the hotel staff to be really friendly and helpful, great customer service. One downside is the restaurant, breakfast omelette was delicious, but apart from that, I thought the rest of the food was mediocre, and dinner time became boring by the 3rd night. Be warned that, we paid for half board, but this does not include drinks, which are overpriced. I think it was £4 for a small glass of coke and when there's 4 of you these costs quickly add up. On this point, I should add, Croatia overall, is a very expensive country, from Taxis to tours, because tourism is their main industry and it only lasts a few months. There are boats to pick you up from the mainland and from the island every hour, no charge if you are a hotel guest, and the boat Captains are very friendly as well, the trip takes about 20 mins each way and I found it quite enjoyable. PS the water at the beach is crystal clear and there are loads of fish swimming around close to the pebbles, so remember to take your snorkels.

Fabulous hotel for our 4 night stay. This was our 2nd visit to the area. We stayed in the Eden previously which was lovely but busy in July. When we saw this hotel we vowed to try it next time. The hotel is very special. The only criticism we had were the bed sheets were not white, they had a green tinge which made them, in our opinion, seem old fashioned. To be fair, the very helpful receptionist said they would change them from one of the other hotels if we wanted but we weren’t that picky, just wanted to make sure we hadn’t got a ‘dodgy’ set. Lovely big room and huge bathroom with walk in shower. Water is replenished daily and great friendly housekeeping. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and tranquil with lovely views, all the usual buffet items plus many more healthy options than in other hotels. Lovely cooked items from the menu - the French toast was amazing! Cycling was free for this hotel and because the weather was not as great as we were hoping we cycled everywhere for 2 days which was great fun - the national park is amazing to explore. Many restaurants in town with so much choice and great food. Rovinj is our new go to place for a short break as it is so quick 1hr 50 from Gatwick. We love it and will definitely be back, thank you.
