Plaza de la Luz Cádiz

Room was on the smaller side but clean and had everything I needed. The place also has a very convenient laundry room that you are free to use (I just wish there was laundry detergent). Easy to walk from here to the main attractions.

家庭旅館式的酒店，有廚房可以做飯，還挺方便的，雖然分在類似半地下一層，臨街，隔音很好不吵，有一張大床和一張小床，整體來説很方便，這家酒店有四棟樓，一般是三點才能check in，不過兩點多房間整理好酒店前台給打電話可以入住，假期整個小鎮很多人，歐美人士居多，走路到海邊和菜市場及海鮮城十分鐘，適合發呆的城市，住宿還是值得推薦的，前台的工作人員英文流利很nice～

酒店就在海也老城區，精緻漂亮，性價比高。周邊很多餐廳。要注意酒店有好幾棟樓，所以導航把你帶去的不一定是有前台的那一棟。

酒店地理位置很好，離加的斯的主要景點都很近，走路就可以了，出火車站打車也不貴10歐就夠了。周圍有不少bar，餐館，超市，吃飯購物很方便，離中央市場也很近。前台接待人員很熱情，房間很大很安靜，廚具一應俱全，想做什麼都可以。非常滿意，下次去加的斯還會住這裏的呢

Arriving I pulled up outside for my wife to nip inside and ask the directions for the car park. Minutes later she arrived back with a map and directions, it was less than five minutes away! Check in was easy (we had pre checked in). Our room was in a different block about four doors down in the same street. The room was large with everything we needed including a kitchenette and a separate bathroom. Shower was good and everything really clean. It’s in a great location right in the middle of the old town (fisherman’s area), famous for its Tapas bars. We went on a pre booked Tapas walking tour and all three bars were less than four minutes away. The Cathedral was about ten minutes away, the Caleta beach about four minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel due its location and cleanliness.

Very strange way of paying for hotel.They informed me that "Spaniśh law" forbids to pay by cash over special amounts ...but first of all they should do this earlier before arrival.They dont have any way to solve this problem........apart of paying by cash without a bill( Is it not against the law?) When i asked if i could deposit a money in a bank or a bank machine they indicated me some places to do this but they "forgot" to add that this places are only for the withdrawal not to deposit money.At the end they allowed me to pay for our stay with my sisters card(diffrent name and surname)---Is it not against the Spanish law?.Everything made by "Spanish law guard" middleaged guy.I dont know his name.I stayed a few times in Spain and I did this this time after leaving Cadiz---and belive me this "Spannish law" was no so restricted and I could pay by cash even a higher amount Room is very raw in items.I am not a great fun of tv but one tv device for three bedrooms is under any standards i have seen before.Indefinite sytem of housekeeping one day they ask me by sms if i want t clean my room.Despite of my answer that i dont need it that day,they informed me that the they did it.The next day nobody answer about anything and nobody came to clean the room.Definitely I will back to Cadiz one day but not to this"Spanish law fortress" In plus---Beautiful Cadiz.Great location in the centre.Close to Maroco and Portugal

Great place to say , underground carpark (extra charge applies) in a brilliant location in the old town. 5 minutes walk to the beach and local bars and restaurants just round the corner. Spacious and clean room , small fridge , tea making facilities. Fabulous little roof terrace with some sunbeds and a sea view.

My wife and I stayed at Plaza de la Luz for two nights as part of a trip from Gibraltar, and onward to Seville. Modern comfortable spacious room with a good ensuite. There is two seater sofa and a TV. There is a laundry room which you can use if you provide your own washing powder... The buffet breakfast is very good served in a property next door. Plaza de la Luz is close to the beach / bay, great tapas bars, and walking distance to central Cadiz. All the staff we came across were very polite, and freindly, giving advice on places to visit, and where they are on a map provided. They allowed us to leave our luggage in a secure area near the reception after checking out whilw we did our final visit to central Cadiz before travelling to Seville by train later in the day. Excellent value.

An excellent location between the waterfront and the narrow streets of the old town. Our room, 6125, was on the second floor away from the lift. With the windows closed we had no noise, but were left reliant on a not very cool air conditioner fixed at 24 degrees - in my case a little too high for comfort. If I stayed again I might request an electric fan. We hugely enjoyed shared use of the third-floor outdoor terrace with views to the sea. Don't miss the sunset. Another huge bonus is the laundry with washer drier. No coins or any of that nonsense, although instructions are in Spanish. Inevitably I ended up the wash-that-never-ends but the receptionist was kind and helpful, even phoning a friend for advice. Also, you might need to buy your own laundry liquid. The low point was breakfast. Limited fruit and cereal and bread not to our taste.As we were staying for a few days stocked up at a supermarket. Cadiz itself is said to be struggling economically through loss of jobs and opportunities, with younger people leaving in search of these. However the place has a great spirit. The cathedral has a calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere after the rich glories of Granada, Cordoba and Seville.
