It was a very pleasant stay. It's very small place on forth floor for 200 years old building. Arhitecture is astonishing for those ones who appreciates old, high ceiling buildings. Breakfast was very tasty and stuff is highly pleasant, friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and tidy. However room was very small and bathroom was so tiny, plus weight person won't be able to use it. Overall great stay, great location and experience.

The room is a little small as is the bathroom. The traffic noise is horrific. However, the staff made up for the hotel's shortcomings. They were friendly, caring and could not do enough for us. We enjoyed the home-like atmosphere of the hotel. It is not what a person might expect of a 'Boutique hotel' The street entrance to the hotel, which is extremely shabby and dirty, is not easy to find as there is no signage. The Square Boutique Hotel is excellently positioned in the centre of Downtown Cairo for a warm and pleasant stay. (Don't forget the noise-cancelling earplugs)

L hôtel est situé à un endroit idéal Le Caire au pied de l immeuble certes bruyant côté rue mais fascinant de voir défiler cette vie ..et point de départ facile pour ballades visites resto découvertes … Certes salle de bains un peu petite, pas de sèche cheveux… mais cela n avait aucune importance - Literie très très agréable Outres l emplacement, l accueil était au top… merci nura pour ce petit dej au top, merci à Isra pour sa gentillesse chaque jour et surtout un grand merci à Ahmed qui a rendu ce séjour encore plus beau ! Un lieu top, des rencontres merveilleuses!

Hotel staff are lovely and very helpful. Airport transfer was very proficient and prompt. Much appreciated when arriving into Cairo at 2am. Hotel centrally located in old part of town. Old building in need of maintenance but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Good air-con. It was nice having the city view but the traffic noise and horns are very loud, not reducing to around 12pm. The breakfast was good, and you can have on the balcony if you choose. Because of the noise consider only staying one or two nights.(I stayed 4)

These people are extremely deceitful and dishonest. We had booked a room with a balcony facing the square and paid more for it. We had booked through *********** with the "The square boutique hotel" - now they have changed their name to "The square view". Upon arrival they checked us in normally, charged our card and told us that the “deluxe rooms” were located in a different building. We then had to haul our baggages from one building to another (where they didn’t have an elevator). It turned out that they put us in a completely different hotel, where we had to check in again. This new hotel was away from the square and did not have a balcony or an elevator. There was no compensation for this change/downgrade. I would never recommend booking this hotel or dealing with these unscrupulous people.

This hotel is very nice and well kept. It is by the square/main road so the traffic can be heard from the room, however it did not bother us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated an extension of one night to our stay and catered for an early breakfast on the day of our departure. The location is very convenient especially to visit the Egyptian museum and to reach the bus/train station.

Excellent place to stay right in the middle of all the action. A little intimidating in the beginning as i had to stay my first night at a sister hotel due to booking error but that place and staff were very nice. After moving to my booked room everything was great. The staff is amazing and super helpful, they made sure everything was taken care of. Special shout out to Muhammed and Heidi.
