Golden Palace down town is a great value hotel in Cairo city centre.. + Golden Palace down town is a great value hotel in Cairo city centre. In my case, I was only staying one night on the last day of my return to Japan from Siwa Oasis by late night bus, but I was able to relax more slowly than I expected. Above all, I could stay at a reasonable price from the site I booked in the center of Cairo, the reception was friendly, and the check-in time was flexible. There was a firm cleaning in the room, hot shower, minimal amenities and although it is in the center of Cairo, it was in a very quiet room. In my case, I stayed here to relax rather than sightseeing on the last day of my return home, but I think it is also an excellent starting point for sightseeing.I think that it is within walking distance of Nasser Metro Station, Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum."Uber taxi" will also be here soon.Also, there are many restaurants in the city. Overall, I think it is a hotel that is a good value for money, which is good enough for families, solo travellers, couples and business people.I recommend it..

Great location (for those who like downtown Cairo), clean, good price and very nice competent people. Everything was great except for a Nile River Cruise the hotel booked us with (try to avoid Andrea Nile River Cruise). The rest was fantastic.

Good location. Clean room. Comfy bed. Budget hotel that served our purposes. Recommend getting their transfer service from the airport. The hotel is in a run down building with an interesting lift which we found fun! The breccy is ok if a bit limited. Good housekeeping. Good value for the price.

It was an amazing experience, i wanted to thank every worker was there, specially Rafikii who helped me a lot during my journey , we stayed for a day use Everything was perfect, the food tasted good . Everything meant to be perfect for me .

The hotel is very well located,near the subway , restaurants,the staff are amazing, they are very helpful, friendly and try thier best to help thier guests. The room is very clean, comfortable and has good wifi signal

This is the worst hotel to stay in we found a leprosy in the room at 2:30 am and they had no room service to take care of this issue and they have no other room available And they left us with no option we couldn't leave at 3:00 am i don't recommend this hotel at all

I stayed at the Golden Palace hotel 3x during my trip through Egypt. The entire staff was amazingly warm, responsive, and kind. I really appreciate everyone’s helpfulness during my stay (Andrew, Marco, Nareman, Mahmoud, Badr) for making my experience in Cairo a positive one. Thank you for the memories and I hope to return again!

This is not the golden plce it is the horrible night mare place. 1-You have to fight eveyday to have any kind of early breakfast becasue they serve breafast very late at 8:30 as punsihment they will give much more less becasue you complain. 2- You need to pay for facilities that does't exist( over priced for low quality). 3- The bathroom smell ugly and you can't stand this to be in the room all day. 4- Bed sheets and towels are stain makes you vomit ( really disscusting). 5- The claimed hotel is just 2 appartment at the 4th and 6th floor and elevator that rarely works. 6- Don't beleieve that they have ATM machine or a night club or restaurant or safety box , kettle or even working hotel. They are just laying cowboy biz. 7- You have to fight for tea or coffee eveytime you want one( becasue the kettle is not there as promised). 8- They will blame as acustomer to hide their mistakes. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS UGLY EXPERIENCE.

The hotel is so nice and thats located in the middle in cairo and that's nearby any place that i need to Room in hotel is so cheapest from any place and breakfast 🍳 is so delicious That is guy in receptionist called Muhammad rafiki he's friendly and so funny i love him
