Grupotel Aldea Cala'n Bosch

The whole atmosphere was great, very relaxed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the pool area was lovely. We had B&B and the breakfast was fantastic. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely return, the surrounding area was very scenic and lovely walks right on the doorstep.

Hotel was in an ideal position, close to beach, just a few yards through the hotel grounds, and the harbour was very close by with loads of amenities such as small shops and loads of eating places to suit all budgets. Close to a bus stop that went into Cituadella and fares were cheap, in fact prices in the whole of the island including in the hotel were alot cheaper than other destinations I have been on. Food in the hotel was very varied with plenty of choice. Tables were sometimes a bit difficult to find at peak times and the restuarant manager seemed out of his depth sometimes when it got busy. there sometimes didnot seem enough staff to clear tables etc, and if we both got up between courses we would come back to find our table had been cleared and reset, even our bottle of wine disappeared one night. We learnt to go one at a time to avoid this. We had a sea view room, but had to climb 3 flights of steps to get to it (there were no lifts) but we had a massive room more like an apartment, with lovely big sofas and very comprehensive self catering facilities and 3 balconys, one really large one with sun beds on it. There was always room round the swimming pool and one good thing was notices around not to save sunbeds by leaving towels on them. Great idea. All staff were very helpful and friendly and cleaning was top notch. 3 times a week there was live music in the bar which was very professional and the guy that served drinks in the bar was great. There was an awful lot of young children in the hotel when we were there at the beginning of May, but that is not the hotel's fault, but it was very noisy at times.

Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful reception staff. Spotlessly clean public areas. Well worth paying extra for an upgraded room with sea view. Food was excellent, the restaurant was only let down by being under staffed and by the few staff on duty being untrained and incompetent. Despite this would recommend it

What a beautiful place to stay. We had a lovely apartment with two patios and a private roof terrace with partial sea view. Spotlessly clean, great shower and comfortable bed. Kitchen area is a great bonus as you have a fridge for cold drinks and cooking area, kettle and toaster. Food was good and offers a lot of choice. Only negative at breakfast was tea wasn’t great so take your own. Nice bar and two pool areas. Local shop selling everything across the road. Beach access straight from the hotel and short walk to harbour, restaurants and shops. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. Staff were all amazing and made us very welcome. Would come back and stay here again. Only negatives were minor - the English TV channels never worked properly and charge for safe.

Nice hotel , good pool although water cold as presumably heated by sun . Later in the year should be fine . Very pleasant housemaids . Restaurant has a good choice of food. The only negative is the restaurant manager tried to charge me for an evening dinner when I wasn't there . This resulted in unpleasant discussions at checkout. The fee was deducted somewhat reluctantly and with no apology which I think is unacceptable.

Resort is located a few minutes walk away from the beach. The resort was clean, quiet and well maintained. The food was very good with a wide range on offer. The staff were polite and helpfull. Our apartment was sufficient for a couple, however the kitchen facilities are quite basic, however, this didn't spoil our holiday. Cala'n Bosch has a nice harbour with plenty of good restaurants and the local bus service provides access to other places of interest.

Lovely comfortable apartment close to beach. We stayed here 14-21 October and had a relaxing stay. The apartment we had 88a had a stunning sea and pool view and was very spacious and comfortable. We stayed on a B&B basis (breakfast was served 8:00-10:30). Lots of choice for all nationalities and tastebuds! We are in the hotel restaurant on 2 nights. Food was ok for us but we did think it would feel repetitive if you were staying on a dinner, B&B basis for a week. We are here 2 nights for convenience after days out. Hotel is very close to the marina with lots of other restaurant choices. A lot of places were closed already as we did travel late in the season but it didn’t bother us and we managed to eat well for our weeks stay. The hotel has direct beach access via the garden and 2 lovely freshwater swimming pools. Plenty of Sun loungers and a very nice little pool snack bar. We would stay here again.

We had a brilliant 5 night stay here. The hotel is very clean throughout and the staff are really lovely and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious and beds very comfortable. We had rooms overlooking the pool and beach and the view was wonderful. We stayed half board and it was perfect for the time of year we visited. The food at the hotel was really good with plenty of choice. The live cooking was really great and the fish they cooked was delicious! The area around the hotel is really pretty. Lots of places were closing for the season but that didn’t bother us. We walked along the coast path and enjoyed a trip to beautiful Ciutadella on the local bus which is well worth doing. The pool was a little chilly but given it was late October that’s hardly surprising and we still used it everyday. It was fine once you were in it! Would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we ever visit beautiful Menorca again.
