Insotel Cala Mandia Resort

We paid quite a lot of money for the swim up room but it was very disappointing. We contacted the hotel months before we travelled to request a cot in our room and we also called tui to confirm this the week before which upon arrival was not noted. After 5 hours and multiple trips to the front desk, no cot was provided. Eventually they provided a travel cot which was covered in mould. Our room was a swim up room which had water stains on the ceiling, smelt of damp. cracked tiles and generally looked worn and tired. Not what we were expecting for over £6k for three of us for a weeks holiday. The buffet was pretty much the same every night so we ended up eating out even though we were all inclusive. bar staff were pretty miserable but the chaps who showed you to your seat at meal times were excellent and always said hello to our toddler. All in all a pretty underwhelming week away.

The room was lovely and clean brilliant shower comfy bed no faults room,adult pool area was ok only, one main restaurant open which catered for all which we thought there was a separate area for adults only loads of kids not supervised by parents left to run wild not good in food area now to the food which was awful chicken in breadcrumbs was completely raw inside so tried pork uncooked crocetts cold inside I could go on with a big list but to put it bluntly every thing was cold or not cooked properly that was all meals so played it safe with cereals in morning to get toast had to put it through 6 times then it was like concrete dinner and evening meals chips ,mash cold meats such as ham and cheese awfull place nothing around it nearest place poto cristo which is very nice but very small and some places charging €7.50 a pint of larger would not recommend to anyone

just got back from a 11 days holiday starting with a 7 day cruise which was great then finished of holiday with 4 day at this hotel which was very disappointing rooms where ok basic but clean. adult only area by pool ok good little drink and snacks van. Now for the food in one word RUBBISH under cooked food raw chicken almost every thing we had was gold and bland to taste would NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet holiday as lots a kids running around in all areas includin dinner hall .club house .Sports bar only OPEN FROM 8PM kids in there too Dont go to this hotel

The hotel is truly amazing the staff work so hard long hours to ensure everyone is happy and well. Julie is amazing with the children Jacko the head entertainer is amazing too they are so full of life and energy. The food is truly amazing as is the choice of food. Family oriented hotel of all ages there is many adult only parts too. We stayed for 11 nights family ages 17months old to 49 the 7 of us throughly enjoyed our stay and will come again happily

Just spent the best week on holiday we have ever had at this hotel. The facilities are fantastic, the hotel and pool areas are beautiful, the food was fantastic we tried 3 different restaurants and they were all amazing. We met lovely people and made so many friends. The entertainment in the evenings was superb and the entertainment team were even better, matilda, umberto, Leonardo, Martina, giacomo, loris and guilia thank you all for making our holiday so special, we will definitely be back to see you again. JJ and Marga have been absolutely outstanding - extremely welcoming and gracious hosts….. This resort is fabulous - please make the decision to come here and experience the wonderful - and who could forget Jorge - what a guy and what a bar tender!!!

Staying here at moment hotel is top class food is lovely and JJ and Marga at reception and guest relations are top class at there job and have been really helpful with all our requests don’t hesitate in booking this resort - need to mention Jorge too - best bar man in the whole of the island!!!!

What a fantastic hotel, seriously ignore any bad reviews! We are 5 days in and only have great things to say! Food is amazing, something different everyday in the buffet along with the usuals, huge variety, caters for everyone, including dietary requirements, even the fussy kids! The head chef is always on the main floor, making sure good standards are kept, and waiting staff are quick to clean up. Staff are so happy and friendly! A great family orientated hotel. Lots to do! Entertainment staff work very hard to make sure everyone has a great holiday. Always encouraging the kids to join with the daily activities. Hats off to Giacomo and the rest of the team for all their efforts. Last nights entertainment was their own variety/comedy show, which catered for all nationalities by making everyone laugh without needing to say a word, which we all thought was truly brilliant! The whole hotel is spotless and very well maintained, cleaners change towels and make beds daily. Food hall, bars, pools, spa, gardens etc are lovely and very well kept. JJ the manager always friendly and happy, and will do anything he can to make sure you have the best holiday. Would have no doubts about recommending this hotel, we booked direct as so much cheaper than a package holiday, and then flights etc separately. We were also lucky enough to have a free room upgrade when arriving! Thank you for a wonderful holiday and look forward to returning in the future

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the entertainment was great, they had a good variety of food all day everyday! The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. The indoor play area was a saviour when it was wet weather, they also have a beach right next door which was lovely! We were very happy with our stay and would book again.
