Hotel Oasis Park Splash

Lovely hotel, all staff friendly and polite, food good + plenty to eat, lots of lovely alcohol of different varieties and all good quality, hotel loan out sun umbrellas for the beach as well as disability scooters if needed, not far to beach, cheap on buses (went to Blaine for the day, very good indeed) to other towns, same with trains, kids go free, we went to Barcelona for the day, also a boat trip out, both good, cheap to eat & drink out too! Lovely spa at hotel with champagne €13 was great! Anyone who complains about the hotel, has seriously got to a sad person, I came with my daughter, partner 2 young kids, it was perfect, especially fitted into there budget, first time in Calella, Costa Brava & will be coming back in the future

I went here with 4 other people just over a week ago for 5 days. The place overall was clean with very sanitary rooms with an amazing shower however the shower head was high pressure so it wasn’t easy to use at first but once you got the hang of it it was alright. The key cards aswell were a minor inconvenience as they did disconnect if you put them near a phone. The staff for the most part were amazing but there was this old geeza that always was arrogant and quite rude but the rest of the staff was amazing as they always cleaned up the mess and they always served me and my family with a smile. The food was decent but it is an all inclusive hotel so you can’t really complain much. The bar had cheap alcohol (as expected to be fair it isn’t a proper bar) and the pools were very nice with some amazing slides. If you were by the slides on Wednesday 22 may at around 11ish in the morning and saw a kid with his bum out I am sincerely sorry he wanted to go faster on the slide. There were a few fun arcade games such as air hockey and 2 pool tables that were in decent condition. The lifts were an issue as there were only 3 and were a little bit slow.Throughout this holiday despite the resort itself having its ups and downs my family and I have had an amazing time with the friends I made on this holiday. I do recommend.

Not a great start when you get a coach driver who for the one hour transfer was having a telephone conversation for 40 mins, then to be dropped off at the bottom of a hill and told to go up. Hotel reception clean and spacious, no smiles or greeting from staff. Rooms not very big but clean and very minimal We arrived at 1.30 so not expecting rooms to be ready we went to the dining room for lunch, if this is meant to be a four star hotel the dining room is like a secondary school canteen. Plastic tables and chairs you need to queue down one side for Luke warm food , drinks dispensed by one staff member from a small gap , not hot beverages here. Very loud . We looked around the hotel before going to our rooms pools very small and cramped for a hotel with 200 plus rooms , I actually counted the number of sunbeds and chairs from my balcony( sad I know but not much else to do here) approx 130 so enough for about 30% of the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant, we went at 7.15, by 730 people were queuing to get a table , food again Luke warm , do not be fooled by the photos all very staged . Throughout our stay very repetitive and cold, had to stop children getting pizza from station saw a chef bring from kitchen and place tray on sink draining board whilst a member of staff running water to wring out cloth. To get a hot beverage after meal ( , except breakfast) you need to go bar where they give you a cup dispensed from a machine in a paper cup, all drinks served in plastic glass ( unless you are not all inclusive then served in an actual glass or coffee from station like a Costa coffee) cocktails from a machine . All in all if you are happy running at 9 to get a sunbed and enjoy warm repetitive food served in a very loud canteen I can not suggest this hotel.

This hotel is a disgrace, staff are horrible to anyone other than spanish , incident with another spanish family as a irish family and was terrible all due to sunbeds, Food is horrible here all the same everynight ! unless you want your kids watching half naked women dancing as there evening entertainment id recommend going for a walk to the beach as it is lovely, transfers from barcelona airport are disgraceful drivers are so horribly rude, at 5am telling a mother of 2 kids to “Hurry up” and get her suitcases under the bus , baring in mind they leave you at the bottom of a horribly steap hill in the heat with suitcases and buggys to push up it with no directions! the only good thing about this place is the cleaners who are working 24/7 ! the key cards are terrible stop working nearly everyday! balcony doors dont lock sometimes which is inconvenient as it is 7storys high especially for familys with young kids! beds didnt get changed once also when we stayed , the environment there is absolutely disgusting and wouldn’t visit there again if i was paid to, around the pool is also inconvenient as it is on tiles, they get so slippy and actually witnessed a child knocking itsslef out after slipping and on the wet tiles! water is frezing too! barely any life guards , 3 lifts for a very busy hotel and majority of the time you are waiting 5 mins at least for a lift! disrace of a place do not recommend!!!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - if this is the last review you read, make sure you fully research this hotel before booking. If you like repetitive meals, dirty pools and an 08:30 queue for a 09:00 Olympic sprint for sunbeds, then this hotel might be for you. If you don’t like the sound of that, then book somewhere else. We had the most disappointing time here, despite the great photos and some good reviews, ultimately we were let down by all aspects of this hotel. Poor service, doors constantly not working despite keys not being near phones of credit cards. All Inclusive offering was extremely poor, food never changed apart from Sundays, freezers for the ice creams weren’t set sufficiently so they were always melted. The pool was cleaned once during our stay, all the other days it was coated with a scum line of sun cream. The pools are small and ultimately the children were bored half way through the week, for a 216 room hotel, the space available is virtually non-existent and you basically had to sit on top of people to get some sun! No evening entertainment worth noting at all, forcing us out into the local town at least 4 nights of our 7 night stay… Categorically would not recommend staying here and definitely would not stay again. Very disapponted

We are currently here at oasis splash and please anyone coming don’t let the bad reviews put you off…so surprised how lovely the hotel is and the kids love it!!! Safe and friendly yes they speak Spanish but speak English too …rooms are cleaned daily and the food keeps flowing Not sure what people expect looking at some of the other hotels around this one looks so much better Ok there may be the odd bit of rubbish but that’s lazy people not putting it in bins Yes it’s very Spanish of course it is it’s Spain !!! Def want to come back 🤩

Too many people for size of hotel, no sunbeds as people reserve early then go about their day leave loads of sunbeds reserved with towels! Dining room is a nightmare too many people no room to walk always getting bumped into. Only 3 small lifts in the whole hotel which is not good. Disappointing definitely not a 4* hotel. Little to no entertainment!

Just came back from here with my partner and 4 children 11,10,2 and 1 years old. My experience was good if I am being totally honest. Our room was clean which was done daily with fresh linen and towels cleaners very friendly at all times. I wasn't happy that we were put on the 6th floor with a balcony that the lock was broken to but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked so we could not be put anywhere else. The food is good if you like variety some of the food served included fish, curry, pasta, steak chips, pizza, vegetables, salad, burgers,omelette soups etc lots of fruit yoghurts ice cream cakes fresh juices hot drinks breakfast was my favourite and there was lots on offer which my family enjoyed. The pools were great the children's pool has a lot for the little ones to have fun and make a splash and it gets shaded in the afternoon which I think is great the middle pool isn't very big but it's plenty for everyone to have fun you aren't allowed floaties although u can have rubber rings my 2 older children spent most of their time in the pool whilst my 2 little ones went onto the top.pool as this was quieter and a lot smaller as my son gets scared of the water.. the slides were great for all of us. We didn't manage to get a lounger in the morning but at lunch time people left the pool which spared some. Staff was always friendly the snack bar had chips hot dog burger ice cream popcorn slishies etc the all inclusive cocktails are okay but Deffo wouldn't get you drunk however the drinks u can pay for are cheap I would return here

I wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday out of the UK with my family so that my son and nephews could also get a break during school holidays. I booked our vacation a few months ago, I didn't read any reviews for this hotel at the time. After booking, I read so many negative reviews and was second guessing my choice. I am not sure why people had so many negative reviews but I do not usually write reviews and I just wanted to give my very honest review about my stay. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and I truly had a great experience. It is a family hotel so expect a lot of children. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. All of whom I interacted with. Our rooms were comfortable, rooms were clean daily. Nice and fresh!. The food was really good. Wide variety everyday and tasted delicious too. So if u are considering giving this hotel a go for a family vacation, go ahead and I hope that your experience will be as good as mine. There are different activities for the kids daily. It was really nice. The night of my birthday, the staff were so wonderful, they decorated a wall by our table with balloons and a happy birthday (in Spanish) banner. I really appreciated that. I ordered a cake and it was very delicious too. Thank you Hotel Oasis Park Splash for the experience. Also, for beach lovers, there is a very nice beach about 8-10 mins walk from the hotel.
