Casthotels Fuertesol Bungalows

A ok base accommodation if you are wanting to get out and about for the day. Disappoin**ent on day one with restaurant and shop shut on site bar only open a few hours a day €2 euro a pint rooms are very basic fridge kettle toaster fan at a cost. We took pictures as alot of damage to the room but after packing just stayed room was facing south facing so had the sun till 3pm then you could adventure to the pool the pool is amaculate salt water but cold. Not being to negative but yes i would come back up the hill a few bars and supermarket restaurants but gets very roudy with a week bar so we adventured down town down the hill 3 minute walk loads todo and great value for money food portions huge. Flower of Scotland brilliant for karaoke and a kabab shop next door the fado rock steak house best meal we have had for along time macs bar and the british bar breakfast lovely. Give this place a miss. A dump dirty false information on web site ran down. So much for peoples comments but don't tell lies bar/cafe on site shut shop none existed room was dirty with ants on the floor cockroaches out side building work getting done out side of hotel. Weather great bars up n down the hill very cheap but don't bring your kids try somewhere else. May all sound negative but sorry it's try look at my pics. Getting into the hotel is a joke doors shut got to walk around the hotel to fine one that is open no security on site. Cheap as chips in bars loads of shops and restaurants near by.

just got back from a great 10 days at casthotel fuertesol bungalows ,roomwas clean the staff was great and very friendly . the only bad thing wasa man how lived room 339 . whom is a member of the family that owen the place he was very rude to people,drunk,and loud all day and night not good at all but do not let this put you off going there it is great place we will go back as long it is not by that man if he is still there

I've seen this resort has had poor reviews on this site, and I believe this is unfair. The room was a lovely size and very clean, the pool was well maintained and lovely and quiet, all staff I spoke with were always polite and very helpful when needed the resort was excellent value for money in an excellent location.

First Hols since Pandemic.. 10 Nights of Uncomfortable Stanined beds with no running water in the morning due to building work outside the resort.. Cock roasters always appearing every evening, this Hotel is very run down and dated... the bar does not open in the evening.. the drinking area is ok, located beside the pool.. the trouble is if you have a pool side apar**ent, which there is only 5 in total, you will not be able to relax and sunbath because the noise from customers drinking all morning to 3pm till when it closes is not pleasent. The Spanish locals who meet there tend to get very drunk every day.. ( very loud ) On one occasion I fancied a Full English breakfast €5... inc tea. 9 baked beans I received, a cold sausage and a fried... bacon undercooked and a greasy egg... and the service was SHOCKING.. Attitude from Staff regarding a request back was terrible. Holiday makers... this is my experience, please be aware... it is very very dirty, untidy and no polite staff... just all in it for thereselves. I shall not return to this 2 ☆☆ Resort.. it's worth paying the extra somewhere else.

Nice bungalows, renovated. Friendly staff, close to city centre. Just for breakfast could be more choices. Two cockroaches within one week stay in bungalow, and another one tried to enter . Bungalows should be sprayed for the insects inside and outside.

Do not book breakfast if vegetarian. Two options English or Italian. We asked for English but no meat. One fried egg a tablespoon of beans, slice of cheese and 2 toast. One glass of cordial and a cup of coffee. No cereal, fruit or yoghurt. Italian 2 " croissants" supermarket doughy, 1 slice of cheese and jam. No shop on site. Not the hotels fault but should have been informed that there is major road works with 20 foot hole right outside hotel. Be careful at night as trip hazard when coming back in the dark as no street lights, had to use torch on phone. Safe at bottom of wardrobe so had to scramble on floor to get access. Good points pool very good and really clean, microwave, toaster and kettle all spotless. All staff great. Good location when road works finished.

We have been coming to fuertasol apar**ents since 2015 and it was a lovely place to stay. Nothing grand but clean and a great cheap getaway. The staff were amazing, all the maids were friendly and cleaned the rooms every day. The bar staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. We hadn't been for a few years thanks to covid. But we couldn't wait to get back. We saw on the website that fuertasol apar**ents had been taken over by casthotels but the pictures on the website looked the same, so off we went. What an absolute disappoin**ent! The website pictures are of the old complex, the pool area is now totally different and not for the better. They don't even play music anymore so you're sat on silence. We saw a maid once the whole week we were there. The staff are rude and ignorant. The bar closes at 3.30pm every day. So good luck If you want a drink. The food is disgusting and nothing like the pictures they have on the website. The bar staff made us wait for a drink because they were cooking food for their family which turned up every lunchtime. They've destroyed the place that we used to love coming to. They are using the old fuertasol pictures on their website so don't be fooled. They have lost a lot of loyal custom as they act like you're an inconvenience when you're there. Never again!

Bungalows were enough to use as a base if you’re ‘out and about’ people; just enough room / equipment - but don’t mistake for anything approaching luxury ! Area is busy enough and the local beaches are lovely. Shops, bars and restaurants aplenty all B within 5 minutes walk - so really good location. Would use again for sure 👌
