Clean, Spacious & Relaxing were the obvious statements after our stay here, there were problems of course but it was the other guests, not so much the hotel, the hotel & staff didn’t really do much to stop them though. Like closing the pools at 7pm but others dive bombing at 9-10pm, **** smoking in stairways outside our room wasn’t addressed either. People lining up around the pool at 6 & 7am laying towels on sunbeds then walking away for 5-6 hours restricted our sunbed access. Hotel said they will remove towels that do this but there were no inspections or enforcement, The place is understaffed, especially at the bar but the Q still moved fairly quick. Biggest problem for wife & I was our double bed was 2 singles. I cannot understand why hotels do this, it killed sleeping as we were on seperate sides of the room almost

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Stayed here for 4 days. First impressions of the room were not good. On opening the door to the room an overwhelming smell of damp greeted us. Into the room and we found a broken sofa, kitchen cupboard doors and drawers broken. No kettle, no remote for the tv, very uncomfortable beds, a safe that didn’t work, a random single bed placed in the middle of the living room/kitchen to mention a few things. The room was very tired. We went to reception to ask for another room but we were told they were full. However we checked online and rooms were still available. We decided not to spend minimal time in the room. We went for breakfast and the first thing we met was a massive queue. No reason for this as there were clearly empty tables. The furniture in the restaurant was very tired. Food was basic. In the evening we visited the all inclusive bar, ordered 2 beers which the barman poured and then he asked for 2 euros for the hire of the plastic glass. We didn’t have any cash, so were refused the drinks which were then poured away. We did ask if we could pay by card but that was flatly refused by the barman. We went to reception to see if we could change some sterling but that was also refused. An early uncomfortable night then, back to the smelly room. In conclusion, this place is terrible. We were told by locals that the hotel had been closed for a while and suddenly re opened. When we said to the local people where we were staying, we were met by the same facial expression more or less saying, don’t stay there, it’s got a bad reputation. The owners obviously didn’t make any improvements on the re opening. Don’t stay here, it’s the worst hotel in Callao Salvaje.

We found the hotel brilliant for the money we paid. The drinks were fine and so was the good. The pools were beautiful and the view from our room was outstanding. The hotel is a little dated and you see the maintenance team daily fixing up the hotel. We cant fault it 1 bit and are returning in September again.

I don't even know where to start. This was the worst hotel we've ever been to. And there have been quite a few and all 3 stars. This was the 3rd hotel in the Canary Islands and they were also 3 stars. We therefore know what the standard of three-star hotels should be. Yours can only be defined as 1, maximum 1.5 stars. first of all food - Have you ever seen what the offer of food choices in the al inclusive option should look like? Because there was no choice at all, the photos on your website show something completely different than it is in reality. The choice is a joke and the best option is cold cuts in breadcrumbs and egg, I think when I leave cold cuts from yesterday, you serve them the next day, it's a joke. The hotel was supposed to be family-friendly and the option for children is only pasta every day and fries, once we had pizza - "my child said to me mom, it's a nightmare. One day there was pork with bones in sauce, the next day pork without bones in a different sauce, I could describe it for so long. And the queues for the restaurant we weiting 30 min !!! No air conditioning, the desserts were melting. secondly, there is no air conditioning in the restaurant, which I think is standard these days, nor in the rooms, which are so stuffy that they are a massacre. We have never been to a hotel where there was no air conditioning.fourthly, in a bathroom without windows, in a room without air conditioning, you tell people not to throw toilet paper into the toilet bowl, it just chilled me. I couldn't believe what I was reading.fifthly, cup at the bar deposit a €1 deposit. I felt like I was some kind of social outcast. New drinks were poured into the same dirty cups, I don't even know how to comment!!! I have always received clean ones at other hotels every time and have never had to pay a deposit.No snacks or ice cream for kids. Only for dinner and how lucky we were that the machine worked.The drinks you have on offer don't exist. I asked for a drink from the list and they didn't know how to make it.Please do not say that the hotel provides an appropriate standard because it does not, only the pools did not disappoint us. And then there is the lack of entertainment for children, my daughter also said that this hotel is not suitable for families and she would never want to come back here. We had a ruined vacation because the hotel did not meet the standards of a 3-star hotel..Honestly, I think we should get a refund because the hotel did not meet the standard. I will also add that we have been flying frequently for the last 15 years and have never written a negative review.

Amazing holiday AGAIN! I can only review every 3 months hence the delay in being able to provide another excellent review for our home from home favourite hotel in the whole of Tenerife. This is our 9th or 10th visit here now and we now come here 4/5 times a year and as always we love it. The staff are wonderful and we treat as our Spanish friends, reception, bar, restaurant all so lovely and hardworking. We got our favourite room which as usual very spacious and clean. Drinks, pools, food, facilities all 100%. This hotel offers what it says, good value basic traditional 3 star ⭐ accomodation and facilities and as always it livedup to that and beyond. After reading reviews we were unsure what to expect, but, it was far better than expected. We stayed in 340, half way to everything so perfect apartment for us in the middle. There are no lifts and lots of steps and some hills so if you're ok on foot it's ok. We soon got used to it but maybe not the best if your mobility isn't good. They do have ramps around though and ground floor rooms. Reception were great so they'd go above and beyond to accommodate. Food was good, enough selection for even the really fussy eaters and the drinks fine for us, we would have liked coke and sprite in the morning but not a massive issue. The bar had all local spirits, soft drinks and beer available so we were suited. They have other selections and coxktail lists too. Rooms as standard, great size and what you need, we didn't go on holiday to spend our days in the room but they are spacious with everything you need, our balcony was spot on and our view was lovely. We could see the pools, bar area and sea so nice if you wanted to take beers up and chill on the balcony. We would've just liked air con or a fan in the bedroom for the very warm nights. Maid service good and visited enough times, just leave towels etc in the bath and they replace them. Pools all great, we soon found our preferred spot and stayed there, just a shame it had to be closed Sunday and half of Monday (but we get why as it had to be cleaned out-not staff fault) Staff were all amazing!! Friendly and approachable and polite. Cash machine, shops, supermarket and bars literally a 5-10 minute walk. The supermarket at the bottom of the drive is much cheaper than the hotel shop. There's bars and sea front to the right, bus stop and taxi stop which is relatively ok price wise. 20 minutes to the right (back of hotel) are more shops, bars and restaurants etc with nice cheap pints, local beer is also very good! Everything in our apartment and what we saw was clean, staff didn't stop they were always making sure everything was right and tidy. Mixed age groups there, groups/families and couples so it's perfect for anyone. We went to Las americas for England games and 5€ for us both on the bus and 30€ back in a taxi so not mega expensive. We would definately return again. Thanks for a good week, we needed it!

I don’t even know where to start this this hotel, it was disgusting. When we arrived to our room we were met with a horrendous smell but we just kept finding more and more, the light switch in the bedroom fell off when we turned the light on and sparked at us, there was chewing gum stuck to the leg of our side table, the sofa bed had hard dried crispy residue on it which did look like vomit as well as many other stains. Our room was right next to the pool so we had people looking right in on us at all times. There was bird poo on the side of our bath as well as some other suspicious looking stains. We couldn’t even hang our clothes up in the wardrobe because of the smell in the wardrobe. The staff were incredibly rude and the food was horrendous, the buffet was absolutely tiny so there was next to no selection

Absolutely had the best time x staff were very friendly and always smiling... Went all inclusive and the drinks selection available was amazing x food was very tasty, and great choice available, hotel was kept clean and tidy x rooms we were in were aged... But you certainly got a lot of room for your money x

Reading the reviews I wasn’t sure what to think but I had a great time here. Yes there’s a €1 deposit for cups but you get this back. There’s plenty sun loungers we never were short of one together. For the rooms we had a pool and sea view from a massive balcony. The room was clean and very spacious. There was a couple cracked tiles in the bathroom but none of the floor so this wasn’t a big deal at all. There’s only entertainment on Wednesdays and Fridays, however for the price you pay you can’t expect more, more entertainment would cost the hotel more and as a result would cost the customer more. I’d say this isn’t really a hotel for young kids as if your kids are fussy eaters or can’t entertain themselves then I’d say you’d struggle. Food was decent enough and ranged each time. You can also help yourself to juices, wines and beers at lunch and dinner. And hot drinks and fruit drinks at breakfast. This hotel was great value for money, those that complain are expecting too much.
