Melia South Beach

Beautiful hotel! The views are amazing . great staff the service was TOP. I was there for my birthday and found in my room a very sweet note a bottle of cava and a slice of a delicious cake . Very thoughtful. Breakfast very nice also a lot of options to chose from. The only down side is that the toilet is open and it makes noises at night … i got scared a few times . For sure will visit again

Hôtel situé dans un quartier très animé, vue sur la rue où il y a énormément de fêtes et de fetards. Ce qu’on a le plus apprécié c’est le petit dej autour de la piscine. Chambre correct.

Please read in original English. The hotel and the personnel are outstanding, friendly and helpful. We were LeveL guests on the 10th floor and the view was truly breathtaking and the room was gorgeous. We previously stayed at the Melia hotel in Puerto Banus and really enjoyed our stay there as LeveL guests. The breakfast offered at both hotels is very generous and delicious. We were personally shown the grounds by Alejandro de la Hera Remacha and he was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our ten-day visit. The only reason I am not awarding the full pefect rating is because of the noise from the hotel's neighbor: Nicki Beach. A really great hotel with a noisy neighbor. The LeveL benefits are worth the extra price.

Chaguemos ao hotel perto das 3h da manhã, pedimos ao rececionista, se podíamos comer alguma coisa, o que nos respondeu que tínhamos pizza em frente ao hotel, no entanto, ao chegarmos ao quarto, tínhamos uma refeição à nossa espera. O mesmo nenhum informação nos forneceu. Quanto ao quarto, muito bom, limpo, com vista para o mar. O staff do restaurante Merkado, muito profissional, amável e simpático, nomeadamente a Andreia.

Llegamos en familia a pasar unos días y desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa. Nos atendió Alejandro de The Level y en todo momento de la estancia ha estado pendiente de nosotros , muy buen profesional . Coincidimos con el Director ( Dimitri ) , y súper bien la atención , ademas estaba continuamente pendiente de todo en el hotel , una pasada !!!!! En el desayuno Sergio muy buen profesional y en todo momento ayúdanos para elegir zonas que visitar , es de agradecer cuando vas por primera vez a un sitio !!!!! El equipo de camareros del bar de la piscina de adultos , súper divertidos y muy agradables !!!!! Albert !!! Dominicano con sangre caliente !!!!!jjajajaj En resumen unos días inolvidables !!!! Gracias a todo el equipo humano del hotel !!!!!

Hotel con piscina inaccesible, ya que desde las 7 de la mañana están todas las tumbonas cogidas con toallas. Las habitaciones tienen un sofá con mal aspecto, viejísimo y desgastado. Las camas son de muelles y con bastante uso.Además los botes de jabón están altísimos, que yo con 1,63 no llegaba. El hotel está en Magaluf, pero al final del todo y es una zona tranquila y tiene un parking enfrente que se puede aparcar muy fácilmente todos los días y gratuito.

Visited Melia South Beach for a 4 night birthday celebration. Upon arrival we were greeted with a beautiful lobby, spotlessly clean and smiling reception staff. We were checked in, slowly, told one room was ready but one was not, and directed to the lift as we were both on the 10th floor. The rooms we were allocated were nice. They were clean, comfortable and had most things you want in a hotel room. The toilet and shower are in the bedroom so if you aren't well aquatinted, be warned, you will be after staying in one of these rooms.....zero privacy. One of our rooms had a big chip in the flooring where my daughter cut her leg on after slipping on the ice rink style floor. Also the balcony for both our rooms were filthy and needed some attention. However the beds are super comfortable and pillows are lovely but unfortunately this is where most of the positives end. After putting our cases into the one room we decided to go down, have a look about and a drink at the pool bar. We sat down at the last table but we're told if not ordering food then we have to leave....which we did. We then spent 10 minutes trying to get served 4 drinks by staff who clearly didn't want to be there. It was actually embarrassing how miserable the bar staff were to the point my mother asked him if he would rather be sat on the beach. After this we left. This seemed to be the case with 90% of the staff here, not attentive or pleasant. Very short tempered and a few of them outright rude. The pool maintenance man however was very nice, smiled every morning and wished us a good morning. The location of this hotel is quite good. At the far end of Magalluf not far from BCM and the complete opposite end to Palma Nova. It is next door to Nikki beach so most days had loud music, this didn't bother us but if you want peace, look elsewhere. There are a number of pools to choose from.....1 adults only, 1 Level (so again adults only) and one pool for all. After only one day here I can say 100% that there are maybe beds for 30% of the guests and it's first come first served. At 07:30 towels must go down or you don't get a bed or place by the pools.....even if the guests who put their towels down don't then reappear til 12pm nothing is done!!!!! We were at the hotel B&B so only ate in the hotel for lunch once. We had a Ceaser Salad, chicken tenders and 2 burgers. The salad and chicken were pretty good but we sent the burgers back....so tough and tasteless with soggy leaves and hard fries. The waiter did take them off the bill but we still had to go back as had charged us for nachos and a different salad that we did not order! The one thing that bumped this up from 2 to 3 stars was the breakfast. This is definitely one of the best breakfast spreads I've had. So so much choice and all tasty and well executed. Cool and trendy hotel, good pool to adults and 2 big pools to families. Food at the hotel is good, but also a little expensive. We stayed in a junior suite on the 6th floor, the view was amazing. Location is perfect, next to the beach, but away from the noise from the bar street. Pablo was amazing, we joined aqua gym, water bike and cocktail class.
