Hotel Coronado Thalasso & Spa

Die Lage ist ein wenig abgelegen, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Hier kann man innerhalb des Hotels und auch außerhalb Ruhe finden. Besonders auffällig ist der Freundlichkeit und der Servicegedanke der Angestellten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind traurig wieder nach Hause aufgebrochen. Unsere Top 3: Meeresblick vom Hotelzimmer, Buffet und das Spa (Sauna und Dampfbad könnten heißer sein, kann aber auch eine Geschmacksfrage sein)

We had a great trip! The hotel is in a rather remote location and was therefore perfect for us. It is relatively small and therefore very quiet. The staff was always very friendly and helpful! The shuttle service to Paguera is great! There is a large selection of food and it was just great to have something new cooked every evening!!!

We loved the location of the hotel, a perfect spot to venture out. The Coronado was quiet/peaceful, we loved how friendly and helpful all the staff were during our stay and the food was excellent! The morning breakfast service was by far the best I have experienced in all my travels, perfecto!

Check in area is way to small for the number of guest. We selected a junior suite based on the foto’s on ***********. The room was nothing like it. The bathroom was terrible with a small bath/shower and a terrible shower curtain. The bathroom smelled like a toilet and even the cleaner did his best the smell stayed.positive points where the swimming pools. Not crowded at all but the top one should be a nude area but with the transparent side of the pool it seems odd (all people were wearing bathing clothes). The view from our room over the bay was great! Breakfast was ok but no 5 star. Price / quality was not good!

Beautiful location and amazing views. There is a lovely section of the beach right in front of the hotel. We did a mini hike to the next cove so take sturdy shoes. The closest big town is Peguera which has a lot of German tourists so don't be surprised is you get greater in Deutsch first. Nice cute bars everywhere. Not the biggest nightlife though. The staff were great and very helpful. Only weird thing was the way the hotel was set up. It's at different levels so had to do quite a circuitous route to get to our room but the views definitely made up for it. Cannot comment on the spa because we didn't visit. Breakfast was excellent. Something to note, the pools are salt water so that's always great. We ordered lunch and that was yummy. I would probably go back and stay.

Nice enough hotel, great views , plenty of space to choose where to hang out and overall nice and quiet . Just a 2 day stay for us before we went elsewhere on the island. 40euro taxi from airport. Mixed crowd but mostly German (us too). We had junior suite with sea view. I did. hear a couple of people complaining about their room 025 being small, ours 225 was top whack. Check in was quick and very pleasant. Staff overall were nice and friendly. Room was huge , with a fantastic vista over the bay and air con was artic level good and shower was nice . We had lunch one day upstairs at the back. Food was fine and wine choice nice and price markup fine for a holiday island. Breakfast was a bit too frenetic for us , this is of course mostly down to the other guests, most of whom seemed often lost and wandering aimlessly . Plenty of seats outside in the sun under a canopy. The food choices were ok with omelets & eggs ordered but can get a bit busy and us Germans cannot queue to save our lives. Usual euro style breakfast buffet. Coffee was fine but if you are a tea drinker hot water can be difficult to source. Tea bags were good which is important …… Plenty of cool beds and sun bathing areas but be warned , our fellow travellers led an early morning charge to book the nice beds , many of which then lay forlornly empty aside for towel and a bodice ripper novel claiming it for the whole day….. I personally find this very irritating and I know many hotels are trying to outlaw this but it is indeed an uphill battle. Lunch was very nice in restaurant at the back of the hotel where the cabana beds are , we had vegan salad and pulled pork burger(I know an odd combo) . Wine was perfectly chilled to the bone. Staff were very smiley and cheerful which just makes everything that bit better. The small town at the other side of the bay has nice touristy shops and a good selection of bars etc. we also had pleasant lunch on the terrace of Calafornels hotel a 3 minute walk from the Coronado.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our 3 days. We had booked a room with a shared pool, perfect for jumping into to cool off. We had booked half board and again every meal was delicious. We would usually only book breakfast as we enjoy eating out, but this was a short relaxing break and we thought we would have it as a back up. We ended up eating here for the 3 nights. Huge choice and the fresh fish and meat, “choose what you want and cook it in front of you” was lovely. We ate lunch at the hotel every day and the fresh fish was delicious. The waiters were both chatty and attentive. We had hired a car and did a trip each day but could easily have just stayed at The hotel. The pool areas had gorgeous comfortable seating with lots of different areas. The bar area by the pool was stylish and had throws for any cooler evenings Whilst the very top pool above the sky lounge was closed on this occasion, the other pool was open with regular waiter service for drinks. The spa was fabulous. Our entry was included and we used it every day. The gym is small but enough for a holiday workout. We had a mud wrap and a vitamin wrap treatment which were nice. We will definitely be coming back. The hotel is still upgrading some areas/ rooms but this did not interfere with our stay at all.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Very nice rooms with balcony and marvelous sea view. Breakfast is perfect. Too less time to check the spa or gym. Walk to centre of guerra is difficult, allong the road, no pedestrial pad.

Lovely hotel...although we arrived in a wind storm and the noise in the hotel corridors was loud and rather spooky! Everything calmed down the next day and we enjoyed all the pools, cocktails and spa facilities. Breakfasts and dinners both excellent, car hire really easy (although we asked for the car to be changed as the air conditioning had broken) and there was no sat nav, so it was back to good old map reading! Rooms comfortable and slightly snug. The only downside was our welcome - or lack of it - from a stout, middle aged lady dressed in black, who was miserable, unhelpful and did not create the great first impressions we all hope for when we arrive at a hotel. 10 out of 10 to Monica who helped us with our taxi back to the airport and also the front of house porter who was lovely and picked us up in the free shuttle bus to Paguera. Would we go back? Yes we would
