FERGUS Club Europa

Were on our last night here at the Europa which were really sad about. We've had the best time here. Dont really have many negatives to say other than on 2 occasions we literally had to clear our own table in the dining room and clean with a cloth as there were no staff to be seen on this occasion. Also had to ask quite a number of times for tea and cups in dining area but that's about it. The pool areas are great fun for everyone and the layout of the whole complex is great. Felt really safe and the life guards do a great job around the pool. Kids also loved the games room which had a number of things like PlayStation xbox and Nintendo etc and also a cinema section. Our room was spacious which got cleaned daily and always had plenty of clean towels. Special shout out to Marco from the animation team who really made our kids feel welcome and gave them a great experience in activities like archery darts and football. Us adults also loved the archery session. He made it so much fun for everyone and did a great job. He's an asset to your team. Overall this was a great holiday which were sad to leave but we will definitley be back soon.

The hotel is brilliant for kids you have the pool that my kids loved and felt safe as the life guards are always watching the entertainment staff was amazing especially Isabella we loved her the kids club was great the food was lovely loved the fresh pancakes and sti fry noodles the rooms had everything you need for round children the entertainment was amazing there was 13 of us we all had a lovely holiday

I had no idea what this hotel would be like before going and had booked it very last minute. Upon arrival the reception staff were absolutely desperate to help. Anything you wanted, they were there to help 24 hours a day. I went as a single parent with my two daughters, 13 and 11. Who are not keen on staying in new places at all. When we arrived in our room their faces lit up. It was a simple room with three beds. Very clean and welcoming. The all inclusive deal was amazing. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was brilliant and had so many options we over ate every meal time. There was also a snack bar, and a pool bar too with ice cream and slushies and beer! The buffet had freshly cooked options and was different on each of the four nights we were there. We had to check out early (before 7am) and the breakfast buffet starts at 7:30, but the reception staff opened up a room for us to have some biscuits and pastries and drinks before we left. The cleanliness was perfect. Rooms made up ever day with beds made and fresh towels. The pool was cold but we visited mid April so very early in the season. There is kids entertainment during the day and a show each night. Before the show they have a kids mini disco where they give a ‘diploma’ to all the kids who had taken part in the days activities. The animation staff were perfect and my older kids wanted to be watching every night to see the kids getting their diplomas and singing the funny song. Or seeing who was ‘sleeping’ Recommend 100%. My children and niece had a super time in the pools and on the slides!! The rooms were always clean and when there was a problem we were upgraded. The food was varied in the evening and the breakfast, though the same every day (as you’d expect) was tasty.

Very good holiday & great value. Enjoyed dominating at frisbee & the pool games. Good food & drinks, we stayed in the Magnus side & it was a great holiday. The Peguera town was excellent with nice bars & restaurants. …………………………,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It was nice clean rooms and the service was fantastic. The activities was including and fun and the animation team are very nice and welcoming! I can really recommend this hotel and it’s close to the city and the beach. The food was tasty and the was a lot to choose from, I would like more drinks to choose from In the bar

This hotel was lovely. Well maintained. There was plenty choice of food, although cold at times. Staff were all friendly and dealt with any queries quickly. Very clean hotel. This hotel is aimed at families with young children. Pools very busy but plenty of sun beds. The only reason I won't return is that it was all up hill. Not good for people with mobility issues. The path was very slippy.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel, after reading the reviews I was seriously considering changing before I went, I think one think to note is the star ratings for European hotels are so broad and anyone that has stayed at a true 4* all inclusive resort should know anything under 7-10k for a 10/14 night stay for a family of 4 would send alarm bells ringing. Check in: due to airport system issues (which I have to say where handled disgracefully by Jet 2) we arrived almost 3 hours late so there wasn’t an issue with a wait although I did witness massive queues on big changeover days, however my review is based on my experience. Reception staff seemed helpful and attentive every time I had a query. Room: I chose a Magnus double room, at an additional cost of c£650 it definitely was Not worth it, 1x double very low camp bed and 2 singles pushed together with a 12inch gap in the middle where the mattresses were too small for the bases, a standard room that my daughter stayed in offed more privacy with a separate bedroom - however the use of the magus side of the hotel was well worth it. Pools: The standard pool with the slides (Fergus side) was tighter packed than a tin of sardines - although the kids loved it, it was manic all day every day, never a free sun bed and bar queues were always massive. The Magnus pool was so much more relaxed, sun-beds available all day and never a queue at the bar, the life guards did a great job of managing people that shouldn’t be there although depending on which one was on they were very inconsistent with what they allowed - no balls, no inflatables. I watched a guy take his 4 year old son in to the baby pool every day for 6 days and climb up the inflatable centre with him, then on the 7th day he was told by a guard he wasn’t allowed - rightly so this guy stood his ground and carried on. Food: despite what some of the reviews say I never seen any issues with any of the food, dishes were always warm and constantly replenished with a lot of food (meat &fish) being cooked at source for all to see. Lunch and dinner menus were changed daily although lunch menu was only available in the main restaurant with the magnus side only offering snacks during lunch time. Variety was massive and catered for everyone. Make sure you book the Italian restaurant it’s exceptional! I did eat out a few nights close to the beach just for a bit of extra variety. Entertainment: reviews are bang on - be there for 6.30pm at the latest or you’ll never get a seat - unfortunately I never made it so never got a seat and can’t comment on the shows. Bars: I was fortunate - or unfortunate as the case may be to be there for 2 of the England qualifying matches, the bar queues were horrendous, a note for the hotel; invest in a few more bar staff and you will save more in wasted drink that everyone leaves at the end of the night cause they all get 4 or 5 drinks at a time when they eventually do get served, but then leave them - Mag

First impressions it looked like a lovely hotel. Check in really slow, Laura & Lola had terrible attitudes throughout our stay. Room was basic & up so many steep steps, not pushchair friendly. Food & children’s area good. Not all inclusive.
