Colony Inn

The room was clean the linens were clean and fresh. Only issue I had was with the shower pressure was inadequate and the drain was slow to the point of standing in water over your feet. All and all it was a good stay. They are all friendly and professional.

The room needed lamps and a place to charge your phone and laptop

The only good thing that I have to say is about the lady who checked us in. I had made reservations earlier that day, requesting a first floor because we were in town for a post op knee surgery four days prior. Upon arriving I was told that it was room 209 and that wasn’t going to work. So I was charged an extra five or six dollars and was giving a first floor. Lady was pleasant at the desk with the room was disgusting. The sheets were stained. The lamp was so dusty in the lampshade was completely tore up.

The Colony Inn was a decent place years ago, but now it is run down and home to less than desirable tenants. Our room was smelly and hadn’t seen a coat of paint in many years. carpet was disgusting. Room 214

While checking in I asked about the pool, since that was an amenity I wanted to use. I was told it's out of service, they are going to turn it into a concrete patio. I went to the area to view the pool and it was empty, it was surrounded by a fence and inside the fence were old mattresses. The community ice machine also did not work. The flooring of our room was very damp as if they had cleaned the carpet earlier that day. The smell was unpleasant. we decided to deal with it since it was only one night. When we were leaving to attend the event we were in town for there was alot of activity in the parking lot, which concerned us. Once we returned, we took our puppy out for a walk and a dog ran up to us as if to attack, dog was NOT on a leash. The dog owner apparently lived in the Inn and with no care she just kept calling the dog to come to her. We turned in for the night with plans on leaving as early as possible - we were very uncomfortable at this time. Shortly after we fell off to sleep at 11:57 some one knocks on our door and the door beside us. We saw the person but they walked away - this could have been a mistake but we believe the person was up to no good, as we found out this place is full of illegal *****. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this property and I belive you should highly consider removing this property from your list. We are planning on calling the local police depar**ent today to report this hotel so they can investigate the the activities going on.

After paying for room, was moved to 3 different rooms and all were nasty, last room 216 had mold all in the bathroom

First thing, a guy sitting in the doorway next to my room drinking a beer. I actually think he may have been staff. The sheets had hairs on them. And the room was so musty I coughed the whole time I was there I checked out after about 2 hours.

Dirty. Smelt like cigarettes and shower didn’t work

When we stayed there we called the front desk and told them our smoke detector was going off. They sent someone to look at it and we got told that’s just what it does. I would beep every 2-5 minutes! Smoke detectors are not supposed to do that!
