Saulo Beach Hotel

Fifteen minutes from Palma airport Small hotel (that’s what i wanted) Very peaceful at breakfast time (unlike the all inclusive properties - hated that experience) Right across from the gorgeous sandy beaches and on the promenade Hotel does need a bit of refurbishment I had sea view with balcony & would have preferred higher floor than 1st (that’s my tip) Italian restaurant is amazing - pizza fresh off the oven😍😋👌🏼

Hotel cancelled my booking 2 weeks before I was due to arrive saying hotel will be closed. This is a lie! They are still selling rooms on every hotel booking site and on their own website for this date but for 5 times the price!! They cancelled my room so they could sell it for more as I got an early booking deal when I booked it. Now left having to find accommodation in the area last minute when all the prices have now gone up as it’s so close to arrival date. I would advise never to book this hotel.

The location was great of the hotel and staff was very kindly and helpful, these were the positive part. The negative parts: The first room we got had green/black mold, the air was smelly so we had to change room. Second room was nicer but few things doesnt worked properly: air condition didnt make cool fresh air and was moldy inside. TV could not be turned on. Hair dryer didnt work, we got other one from staff. Water came out of the shover into the room as it was not cleaned. General experience was for the whole hotel that maintenance was not in good hand, walls were painted long ago and had a "dirty" feeling due the aboves. Breakfast was not bad but far from good also and the coffee was terrible from the machine. All in all we would not recommend it for a long stay, sorry to write this...

The only thing this has going is nice food not at breakfast and the location. I was very disappointed in most aspects apart from the staff. The staff were nice. On entering there is no reception, you have to enter through the busy restaurant. Which is not ideal if you are coming from the beach. I unfortunately did not book the beach view but boy did we get a shocking room overlooking a restaurant vent and other peoples courtyards. You couldn't fit one person on it. On entering the room it smelled damp, poor quality beds existed and the curtains looked like they existed for a very long time. The room looked furnished in the 80s with its furniture and pebble dashed walls. We we willing to tolerate the state until we decided to sleep that night and realised the walls are paper thin. Not only that but you can actually hear the people directly in the nearby room through the vent in the toilet that leads directly into their toilet vet. We were up all night from the snoring next door. So when the outside vent switched off we heard all our neighbours clearly. It really isn't worth the money that's charged. We saw the owner giving orders to staff one of the nights. I thought they were doing a great job. I think the owner would be better paying attention to what the hotel looks likes from the restaurant floor up. Really unimpressed.

I had a great time here. Probably the best beds I've slept on in the 10+ different hotel stays I've made this year. The breakfast was included, and a nice assortment all around. Right on the beach. Maybe 100M to the water from the front door? All sorts of restaurants and what not within easy walking distance, and there is a city shuttle that drives up and down the promenade every 20-30 minutes which is easy to catch and impossible to miss. The promenade is apparently off limits generally to private vehicles, so not busy or dangerous at all. View from my room looked out over the beach. Elevator and stairs which is nice. Front desk folks were incredibly helpful and nice. Actually I can say that about all the staff...servers, cleaners, you name it. Only "complaints" would be from a US perspective. No fridge in the room, and the beds were two singles pushed together. Sit or lay wrong and they would spread apart a bit. But still...best mattresses in Europe! Lol. Fridges can be rented for 6 euro a day. Not bad IMO. Mallorca is a lot of fun, the Saulo helped immensely with that. Thank you!

This is honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever experienced from a customer service perspective. The two ladies on reception were HORRIFYINGLY rude when I made a mistake with my booking. They shouted at me, tried to force me to stay and pay more money and were genuinely threatening. This hotel is in the worst location, unclean and quite frankly the worst reception experience ive ever encountered. DO NOT STAY HERE, not worth single penny to the point we cancelled on the same day and were charged for it but decided we would rather fork out for another hotel than stay here where they treat customers disgustingly

Ubicación inmejorable en primera línea de mar y servicio increíblemente amable! Una estancia perfecta para nuestra escapadita. Pudimos aprovechar descuentos en Purobeach Palma, y nos ayudaron con absolutamente todo!! gracias!!! volveremos!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen war abwechslungsreich und von einer guten Qualität. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer war traumhaft, wir kommen wieder!

hotel en primera linea del mar, genial ubicación, muy cerca de Purobeach. Estuvimos con mi pareja y quedamos encantados, el personal encantador y la ubicación inmejorable. Nos ofrecieron descuentos para acudir a Purobeach y nos encantó su proximidad. Las habitaciones reformadas con mucho gusto y muy agradable. El restaurante Italiano es un plus. Pizzas excepcionales y muy buen servicio. Repetiremos seguro!
