An outstanding hotel with first rate service and attention to detail. This hotel definitely deserves its no.1 rating. Fantastic staff who greet you with a smile. We stayed in the Luigi Paderiva suite and had a wonderful view of mountains from our balcony. Breakfast is excellent. We booked the trip for supper at the Rifugio Fuciade - it was an amazing experience. An absolute must if you stay here. The food was inventive and the sommelier really added to the experience, pairing the wine with our food perfectly and offering insight and history about the wines and the region. Must also mention the skiing, which was the purpose of our trip after all! A huge ski area, with an abundance of intermediate skiing. The infrastructure is good and the runs are long and wide. You can spend a lot of time skiing and not too much time queuing and riding the ski lifts. Loved it. We will definitely return.

Best hotel I have experienced in years! Great rooms and general design of the hotel. Fantastic art (like a modern museum). The best staff. Good food. And of course right in the heart of the Dolomite's Free and flexible shuttle service. In one word FANTASTIC

Perfect hotel for a ski holiday. The family rooms are large and immaculately clean with comfortable beds, warm duvets, and thoughtful details. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The breakfasts, included in the reservation, were extensive, and we fell in love with the produce and cheese from local Dolomiti farms. The hotel is an easy 10-minute walk to the Belvedere Cable Car / Val di Fassa, and the well-trained staff was quick to address any concerns.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and interesting hotel. We originally booked for 3 nights but were able to extend it to 5 nights. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean and the food was superb. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The ski bus provided to the lifts was an added bonus. We couldn’t fault anything and hope to return.

This boutique hotel was simply perfect in every way. I stayed here with my husband and two children on a ski trip for five nights. I was a bit worried about finding a nice place to stay in such a small town, but this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff is warm and friendly, the facilities are a charming mix of modern/alpine/cozy. As noted by others, there is lovely art (paintings, draws, sculpture) throughout the property and each room has an artist theme. They have a convenient shuttle to take you to and from the ski lifts and a locker for ski equipment in the basement with handy boot warmers. Our room was delightful. We had a large bathroom (especially by European standards) and a sauna in our room. They have a pillow menu allowing you to customize your pillow selection (which I very much appreciate as everyone's taste can differ here). The towels/linens/robes/slippers were all top notch, soft and cozy. There were cashmere throws for the beds. They have tons of lighting, including overhead lighting, which many hotels lack. I love a well lit room. The room was somehow always perfectly warm without being too warm and was somehow never dry. I am not sure if they have a humidifier running somehow, but compared to trips to say Colorado where I felt the air was super dry, here the air was perfect. We had a nice balcony and a corner room with views of both the town and the mountain. They have two places to eat at the hotel, we ate at both and both were very good. The place was also very quiet, which I appreciated. They serviced the room twice a day and somehow managed to pop in even when we were not gone for long. Everything was extremely clean even after we tracked in snow and mud. The experience was just lovely and at this price point you cannot go wrong. We likely paid way more than normal as our trip spanned New Year's Eve and I still think this hotel was a great value for the money. I hope we are able to go back someday.

We spent two fabulous days at this outstanding hotel. Each room bears not a number but the name of an accomplished local artist and the artist’s work are displayed in the room. The modern hotel is a work of art in itself with exquisite materials throughout. Museum worthy pieces adorn the hallways and everything is curated…from bedding to plates in the dining room. Food is fabulous and staff is fantastic. An experience not to be missed!

During our round trip, we stay 2 nights here. Due to problems with our car, we asked the reception if it was possible to extend our stay. At the reception they immediately extended our reservation free of charge. In the end it wasn't necessary but this is service! A truly fantastic hotel. Some hotels approach perfection. This is 1! What a topper! Rooms are perfect, food was perfect and also the staff was in 1 word top! It was a pleasure to stay here!

The Owner and All the Staff went above and beyond to always greet you with a smile and a Buongiorno! Out of 5 stars this hotel gets a 10. The food was so unique in looks and taste, the staff was like family and they worked long long hours and were always gracious. We stayed in 3,4 and 5 star hotels in our month long stay and the Artisti Hotel was by far the best!
