Though I didn’t personally stay at Finchley Guesthouse, I arranged a surprise for my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate her recent PhD. From the start, Wayne has been incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and kind. Coordinating everything from a distance was seamless, and Wayne’s warmth and dedication made the whole process easy and enjoyable. From what my family shared, they had a memorable stay, and the staff’s genuine kindness truly stood out. Finchley Guesthouse helped make their time in Camps Bay extra special, and it’s clear that this place holds a commitment to exceptional hospitality. I can’t wait to visit Finchley Guesthouse myself whenever I make it to Cape Town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place that feels like a home away from home. Thank you again to Wayne and the whole team for going above and beyond!

We stayed at Flinchey for two night last week. They accommodated us in the best room of the house with a great view on the sea for fantastic sunset. The house is located nearest the beach and most of the restaurants and bar in Camps Bay. The staff is really kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

Great location for a break in Cape Town. Good breakfast, stunning views. Only -ve over mirror light didn’t work along with hair dryer connection being no where near a mirror .

a great location with wonderful people looking after you.. Many thanks to Wayne and the team. A good base for all attractions around Cape Town plus walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants in Camps Bay.

Amazing staff that made us feel welcome breakfast was really good and fresh every morning. 2 min drive from the beach amazing restaurants and shops, the guest house it’s self had a great roof amazing baths/hottub and the view was to die for everything about this stay was perfect and myself and fiancé did not want to leave thank you to the staff for making it so special

This was a lovely bed and breakfast. It is located in a very nice area of Camps Bay only a 10 minute walk from the beach, restaurant and shops. If you don't want to walk taxi's we're very cheap. The room we had was gorgeous, ground floor with the pool right outside and an amazing view. The staff were lovely so helpful and polite, nothing was a problem. Great breakfast. I loved this guesthouse and would definitely recommend a visit

I stayed at Finchley Guesthouse and I totally enjoyed the experience! The Oceanview rooms were worth it during Sunrise, Sunset and throughput the day. The staff was better than great! Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional! The big dinning table was wonderful if you were in a group. Breakfast was made to order and on point! There were provisions for load shedding so you were never left in the dark. The location was on premium Real Estate… I love Camps Bay. I will highly recommend!!!

The location is really good, the view from the balcony is amazing, the size of the room is good, staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is good, too. There were only a little things to criticize. The safe was really small, the bathroom could use little repairs and the windows aren't properly sealed/compact - wind is coming through. So it's very loud when it's very windy and we could imagine that it could be cold in winter. But we would definitely stay there again!

The staff is so polite and kind. They went out of their way to give us an amazing stay. The view and location is perfect. Every morning the breakfast is served in your liking and you will get the view over the bay.
