One&Only Cape Town

This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium. Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

Lucky for us, our apartment for our family stay in Cape Town was right next to the one & only hotel Cape Town - as a result we frequented the hotel several times during our stay quite simply because the service was so good, the hotel was beautifully decorated & so comfortable and the food was divine whether we dined in the bar or in Rooi restaurant- we ate here for 3 out of 6 dinners in Cape Town - staff were so welcoming every time - highly recommend the cocktails in the bar - Rooi restaurant is another big recommendation … stunning restaurant with amazing service and food to die for - very special experience - if on Cape Town I would definitely put it on your list you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing experience we had staying at the beautiful One & Only Cape Town. This was my first One & Only experience but I am sure it will not be the last. The attention to detail by ALL members of their team is truly exceptional. But in particular I would like to take the time to mention the following staff for their excellent level of service: Sam and Fambaza who were our breakfast hosts at Harbour restaurant and Isola. They were both extremely attentive and helpful and always welcomed us warmly to their restaurants. Navron on reception who was always there with a welcoming smile to answer any questions we had regarding our stay. Amelia and Zoe from Vista who went above and beyond to cater for our afternoon tea, even seating us in the most perfect seat with an exquisite view of Table Mountain, Zoe even reserved the same table for us when she knew we were returning for dinner. Filamon the host who was there each day to great us after our day of exploring, welcoming us back to the hotel with a genuine smile and enquiring about our day. And a special thank you to the concierge team for organising such an amazing trip around Cape Town in a helicopter, nothing was too much trouble and were genuinely happy to assist us with the booking. This place is truly something special and I would encourage anyone who has not had the pleasure of visiting to do so. You arrive as a guest and leave as family.
