Very nice place. They had free coffee in the morning in the checkin area. Nice pool for amenities. Great location close to everything you need in Carlsbad.

Thankful that we were given the refund for checking out early.

Perfect spot for what we needed. Doing a job in the area and needed a place to go instead of driving all the way home and back. Great location and clean hotel. Price was unbeatable.

Description when booking the room stated we had a refrigerator and coffee pot machine. At time of check in we were told we needed to book a premium room for a refrigerator. We rented a microwave for 5 dollars a day since there wasnt one in the lobby. The hotel description also showed a pool. The pool was dirty and had live ducks in it. When i called the front desk to ask if the pool can get clean, they said its cleaed once a week and they would ask if the pool company would go to clean it. Needless to say the pool never got cleaned. The blanket was thin, and the heater in our room did not work. There was a limited amount of towels and housekeeping never came in to replace the used towels. Also, on our second night, upon arriving back after dinner, our second room was opened and lights were on, when we had made sure the door was closed and left the lights off when we left. Luckily nothing was missing from the room. We had to go to the office several times due to our keys getting demagnatized with no reason. Last morning, we awoke to our window screen lifted from the frame, as if someone was trying to open the window during the night. HDMI did not work and we were unable to connect our firestick.

The ac was out, the walls were absolutely disgusting. We have stayed multiple times and never again.

I spent a night in a room where the air conditioning wasn't working, and my wife experienced some allergic reaction on her hands as if she had been bitten by a bed bug.

This destination is right off Interstate 5 in beautiful Carlsbad. Prices compare favorably. The beach, a shopping center and the train station are all nearby. The Flower Fields, Legoland and the outlet stores are within easy driving distance. Most of all, the staff make this place, which says a lot about the management. They are courteous, helpful and efficient. Enjoy your stay here. Take a walk in the fresh ocean air!

Small beds, small rooms, smelling rooms, No AC, rooms not serviced if you stay multiple days, no shampoo, no bath wash.
