It's a charming property that could use a refresh in a few areas, notably some of the infrastructure--screens, vanity, electrical outlets--and less nickel and diming b.c $40/day to valet a car plus $35/day resort fee is ridiculous even if one had the means to pay, but particularly egregious when the pool is closed for maintenance.
Five stars to the spa staff who are excellent. Treatments are thoughtful and therapists are top tier. The spa is definitely something to enjoy.
Onsite restaurant is solid and the staff are well trained and attentive.

There were ants all over my sons bed we called and never got help we didn’t get help till an hour and a Half later there response was free drink cards for a fountain drink. Didn’t get move to another room or no cleaning just a spray down and removed sheets off bed. Never brought new ones back in.

Nice hotel with some interesting amenities. There is a hotel robot that delivers small items to your room. Heated pool was nice with lots of lounging options.

The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed and valued. They exceeded my expectations with their hospitality and follow through on their commitments. Michael has exceptional customer service and was very polite, professional and attentive. The manager Bob was the same way. We had the opportunity to engage with several employees and the experience was amazing all the way around. When I think of a Hilton property this is exactly what comes to mind. We will definitely be back!

Cape Rey is a beautiful Hilton overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Resort swimming pool with amenities.
My most recent stay was only improved by the customer service provided by Anayia at the front desk was incredible at providing opportunities for the best stay, by Adrian taking care of the convertible, by Baylee who made sure our hosted brunch was the best it could be.
If you get a chance to connect with the Leadership Team, you will see why Cape Rey was ranked #1 by JD Power.

Location is great if you are visiting Legoland. Also staff at reception, Jeanine, was awesome! Restaurant food is pretty good although menu is quite limited especially if you staying for more than few days. Only thing I would have liked not being charged for parking considering location of the hotel not in a busy area.

It was lackluster at best. The front desk told me the room would have a soaking tub when I checked in, it did not. So that kinda was set up as disappointing. The staff was generally friendly. There were a lot of sudden financial surprises that I was thankful I prepared for just in case. But the communication around what is charged initially is severely lacking. A $400 deposit, a $30 a night ($150) parking fee AND a daily $35 ($180) "resort fee" are all pretty large sums if you're unprepared for them. The restaurant here is very good I will say. The staff is even tempered and attentive and breakfast was delicious each morning.
