This hotel is a gem. Friendly staff and good beer and food. I like this type of establishment as you are not a credit card walking through the door. Very close to the railway as the name indicates but it did not disturb me.

Nice Hotel close to rail links and for village centre shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice but toilet/shower room really small. Bedroom door squeaked until a little WD40 applied to hinges. Cooked breakfast was very good but only a small choice of cereals, fruit etc. Strange that the residents bar closed around 9:30pm. If you wanted a drink after that you had to use the public bar attached to the property.

The staff were helpful and extremely friendly . They made us feel.very welvome nd nothing was too much.

Absolutely lovely stay at the station this weekend, will def be staying again when we are back in Carnoustie!

Enjoyed my stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Great location for the golf courses and for popping elsewhere on the train.

I stayed at The Station Hotel due to its proximity to Carnoustie Golf Club. It was a comfortable and reasonably-priced choice, with a bar and restaurant on site. A short stroll revealed some other dining options, including a very friendly Thai restaurant I selected. Parking in a dedicated lot was also a plus. No complaints at all.

Stopped here for a single night on a business trip. The reception was good and check in was quick and easy. The room was reasonably sized but was very dated. The bathroom needs some work, haven’t had to use a shower curtain in a shower for a long while. The place was clean and tidy but room was very warm and no fan supplied. When I attempted to open the windows to get some air into the room, there was additional glazing on the outside of the building which prevented any air flow.
Personally I would not stay in the hotel again only because I prefer a cool room.

Lovely hotel. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only downside is it is right beside the train tracks and we were in room 3 facing the train tracks and is also above the pub. Train goes through until midnight.
