Motel 6 Carson, CA

The location of the hotel was satisfactory, but one of the employees was rude when i asked for help w the pay kiosk. The bedding made me itchy one night one, but it was changed. The staff are slow to answer phones as well. You get what you pay for basically.

Not much to this place no housekeeping must request it and no amenities no elevator in the back building and had to climb stairs w all our luggage.

After more than 14 hours of travel we arrived at the hotel. We wanted to check in, drop our luggage and go eat. There was no one at the desk and two groups before us, waiting to check in. The sign said back in 15 to 20 minutes but apparently that time had already passed. The room was nice and very clean but a long way from the entrance. Due to my handicap I had asked for something near the entrance. The bathroom only had bars of soap so no showing. I would stay here in a pinch but likely choose a different hotel.

There is new management that oversees this property now and it has taken a turn for the worst.I stayed at this location from August 9th-Saturday August 12th. When I checked in, there was a lady upset because she had gotten wet paint on her dress and the property didn't have wet signs out. I should've taken this as a sign that my stay wasn't going to be good. When I checked in it was after 3:30 pm and my room wasn't ready. Granted, check in was at 3 pm. I had booked a handicapped room for my disabled aunt who has a medical condition. We get in the room and then I go to the front desk and ask for a couple of blankets in case we get cold at night. The hotel manager tells me that they have a full house that night and may or may not be able to accomodate the extra blankets. He was willing to give me one blanket which was fine I would give that to my aunt. Now keep in mind, we NEVER received the blanket and I let that go. Anytime I called the front desk about something, they NEVER answered the phone. That again speaks to the poor customer service that was received. Now the other issue we had was over the housekeeping. They stated when we got there they dont give housekeeping for 3 nights. It would've been nice to know this policy when I booked the property because that was a big issue. The only time housekeeping addressed us was to bring towels, toilet paper, and they changed the trash cans on the second day of our stay. Other than that we were left to fend for ourselves. That wouldn't be too big of a deal except when our trash cans were full there was nowhere for us to go and dispose of our trash. I assumed there was a dumpster in the alley in the back of the property but I refused to go back there for safety reasons. It had become clear the property had skimped on amenities and cut services to save money at this point. There was no daily housekeeping, and the pool hours were cut from what they were the last time I stayed there. Also the jacuzzi was taken out. The day that I checked out, they took an extra charge for $30 dollars without my consent in addition to keeping my deposit. I called the hotel to ask about the charges and was told that my relative had an accident in the bed. I apologized because I didn't know she had an accident in the bed. Then, I asked was the damage done to the mattress or the sheet. The manager of the property told me NO damage was done to the mattress. The sheet was damaged so theyre keeping my deposit and charged an extra $30 for a sheet. Now you're charging me $80 for a sheet? He also said the room was trashed which was NOT true. We did have full trash cans and trash that we didn't dispose of because there were no trash cans in the lobby or side entrances for us to use. Like I stated previously, we had received no housekeeping services and there wasnt accessible trash cans for me to dispose the trash myself so we shouldn't have been penalized for having trash in the room. No one helps you here as a customer, wifi is broken and they blame computer when I’m on road connecting everywhere! Can’t leave car in lot even 15 mins after 11 am or they will tow!! I am moving to area and need to get my truck and they have no interest in helping

Préférable avoir un véhicule, car bien que les bus soient tout proches, toutes les activités de Los Angeles sont à plus d’une heure voire plus. Sinon, y avons passés 5 nuits et nous nous sommes bien reposés. Notre chambre étant située dans le bâtiment arrière face à la piscine, avec petit bruit de fonds de l’activité alentour. Immense accueil, très propre avec un personnel compétent et professionnel, et souriant. Pas d’ascenseur pour le premier étage. Un coin est ouvert en matinée pour prendre une boisson chaude. Sinon pleins de restaurants tout autour, et boutiques… Quant à la chambre, elle est immense, propre, (manque juste un peu de déco) la literie king size mérite ****, autant le souligner. Il n’y a pas de moquette, donc c’est très bien. La salle de bains est aussi très propre. Présence de réfrigérateur + micro ondes. Pas de ménage (pas dérangeant) mais les serviettes sont changées chaque jour. Les espaces communs sont très propres.
