Oh, my experience at Casa Pestagua was perfection. I travel alone a lot, and I truly felt like the staff there were friends by the time I left. Yeily, German, Leo, everyone was so lovely to me. Yeily in particular went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home, and organize things for me to do. She is the absolute sweetest. I have cancer and don't have a lot of energy, so even on days I stayed in bed or read by the pool were just perfect. Hope to go back one day. :)

The Casa Pestagua is perhaps the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we landed, we were made to feel extraordinarily welcome and as if were VIPs at the property. Katherine upgraded us to the Grande Suite (room 200) which was huge, luxurious and had an incredible view of the cathedral. Breakfast each morning was fresh, extremely good, and accompanied by local fruits and homemade pastries. The spa (located at their sister property San Augustine) was also very good. We cannot wait to return to this hotel.

Hotel Casa Pestaqua is an excellent hotel located in the Old Town (Walled) in Cartagena. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful in all areas. Breakfast is very good although the menu does not change. Nice pool and it has both shade and sun. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Mini bar restocked daily. Safe area. Recommended.

We are a Swiss family spending our first holidays in Colombia. We found this extraordinary beautiulf Relais et Chateaux in Cartagena and can highly recommend it. Katherine with her team was taking care of all our wishes. The rooms are very beautiful and in original style. The pool area is very pleasurable and the food and service are outstanding.

This is a charming boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They always provided water and cold drinks in the room as well as fresh fruit. The turn down service in the evening was accompanied by a small baked treat each night. The staff was particularly special. Leo, Carlos, Roberto and Katherine went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Highly recommended this hotel.

I read about this hotel in an article in Travel & Leisure and put it on my list of future places to visit. In fact, this boutique hotel peaked my interest so that it inspired our 10-day multi-city Colombian tour and was also recommended by our custom tour operator. This hotel is beautiful and the service is remarkable. We stayed in the Junior suite and arrived to a complimentary fresh tropical fruit basket, welcome note, and beautiful accommodations. Our expansive room was on the second floor with a view overlooking the courtyard and restaurant; on weekend nights, we had the added pleasure of being serenaded by the live music below. The room itself was spacious, very comfortable, and well appointed. The food in the hotel is absolutely amazing, even the room service which is the same full menu as the hotel restaurant. The hotel is located within the walls of the old city, making it easily accessible to great restaurants and shops. I rarely visit the same place twice but Casa Pestagua is worth a return visit. Perhaps the next time, we will stay in its sister hotel, Casa San Agustin.

My wife and I spend 4 nights at this hotel. We had an amazing experience during our stay. Excellent service, friendly and courteous staff, beautiful accommodation and excellent food. We would like to recognize the staff below for their wonderful service. Brando - Front desk and Concierge Carlos - Restaurant Supervisor Catherine - Guest relations German - Front door And many others that I do not remember their names. In fact all of them.

Wonderful experience! Nothing was impossible. Frontdesk staff, restaurant and bar staff and housekeeping, so really everybody, was more than nice, helpful and very well trained to accommodate all the guests wishes. Beautiful courtyard, rooms and delicious food and drinks. Also very well located in upmarket street in the old city of Cartagena. The place to spend a few lazy days next to the pool, enjoy a bike ride over the city walls (for free available in the hotel), great dinner suggestions if you don’t stay in for dinner in the courtyard. In short, The Place To Be!

Absolutely exceptional experience in every way possible. Everything was perfect. Exceptional service, beautiful hotel and lovely, relaxing pool. It's an oasis in the middle of the walled city. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
