Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62 J32)

酒店早餐很好吃！對面就是滑雪場，很適合來滑雪的朋友居住。房間也很大很整潔，對於兩個人來説住得十分舒適！

Car park was full - even Blue badge (noticed 2 cars NOT with badge parked in disabled spots) Purchased: Cooked Breakfast at 7am was cold and i mean cold - except for sausages. Informed staffed (who were genuinely concerned) Returned at 8am for cooked breakfast - no change. Stone cold except for the now rubberised sausages.. Again, informed staff.. Had 2 croissants and a cup of coffee.

We stayed here for a night whilst passing though the area. The room was well maintained and clean, there are plenty of amenities nearby and it is a very short walk away from an outlet shopping park. Our gripes were mainly due to noise. At 22:30 a fire alarm went off, which is not ideal when you are staying with a baby who was fast asleep at the time. This stayed on for a couple of minutes and there was no staff to be seen and no explanations as to why it had gone off. The other issue with noise is that we were put in a room directly overlooking a train track, we didn’t see any mention of this whilst booking, and it did keep me awake for most of the night with trains passing quite regularly despite it being a bank holiday weekend. We always book a breakfast when at a Premier Inn and these are usually great, however on this occasion we were very disappointed. We had breakfast at half 8, and admittedly it was busy, however there was barely any food left. There was no bread for toast, most of the hot food had gone, and there was no cold bits either. I asked a member of staff for more yoghurts and got a look that could kill in return. She then stomped off into the kitchen not saying anything before bringing out a tray, again not saying anything to me. Premier inn is our usual go to for chain hotels and they have always been great, however on this occasion we were disappointed and did not get a great nights sleeps in the slightest.

I stayed in a family room (2 adults, 2 children). Plenty of room for us all, other hotels we have been uncomfortable and claustrophobic. The pull out beds were practically full single bed and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and polite- even the cleaner said good morning to us as we walked by :) Lots of choice at breakfast and the restaurant area/tables were cleared regularly

I was having my kitchen upgraded so got out of the way, having not had a break since 2020 and I did some exploring of the area to pass the time I was there and enjoyed the parks an scenery, I will be back soon for more.

We paid £70 for the room with breakfast and it was definitely more than £70’s worth, would definitely stay there again.

Ok here goes for the third time ( first attempt via the hotel and Tripadvisor was not uploaded for some strange reason hmmmm, and the second review was taken down by trip advisor as I had stated something that was deemed second hand news, and asked to remove it) but hey ho let’s try again ….so I stayed at this hotel on the 13/04/2024 for one night as I was meeting friends . So upon arriving at the hotel after my evening out around 1215 am , we all sat down in the bar area for a few drinks and a chat etc, going up to my room around 2am, only to be awoken early in the morning by someone standing over my bed calling my name to get up, as we need to leave, the time was 0730am, this person was known to me as he was my driver. I asked him how did he get in my room, he replied the lady on reception let me in, er excuse me you were just let in, I asked him to leave give me 20/ minutes I will be down and meet him in reception. As you can imagine this all threw me somewhat as I was quite annoyed by this After heading down to reception at 0800am to check out and confront the front desk about how they deemed it a good idea to let a total stranger into somebody’s room and someone that was NOT even staying at the hotel , but a different location. The receptionist was on the phone and so was her male colleague, and I did not have time to hang around so self checked out and thought I will deal with later by phone. Once in the car I asked my driver to please explain what happened , basically he turned up and explained to reception that he had come to collect me but had no clue of my room number, she gave him the information and he made his way up to my room, after getting no reply by knocking he went back down and explained this, the lady then told him no problem I can let you in. Once upstairs she did indeed let him and just walked off leaving him to it, not even entering herself, in case there was any concern as to why I never answered the door. This to me and everybody I have told is absolutely outrageous, unacceptable and a total lack of care and security, anyone could of been in that room ( wife daughter etc) , and this hotel thought this was ok. I tried calling the hotel on the way home but they were not picking up, I later found out why as there was an incident that I am not allowed to write here as it’s deemed second hand information ‘ wow’ . So when home I emailed the company only to receive a message back , thank you for your communication and we will respond within 30 days, unbelievable….. I will NOT let this go and as of yet the 05/05/2024 I have not received an explanation , so all in all shocking service from a so called responsible hotel chain . I anyone would care to message me regarding the incident I am not allowed to mention then please feel free

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel nice big room and very clean. The bed was a nice size and very comfortable had a really comfortable sleep after a long day. If your looking for lots of entertainment then this is the hotel for you as it has everything right outside from cinema to bowling and lots of places to eat too.
