Clean and safe hotel, spacious room with good spread of breakfast. Walking distance to Etnea (shopping belt), with several restaurants in vicinity. Enjoyed our stay there. Appreciate the staff for helping to arrange a room for us where we do not have to change room as we join our tour group that started with a night stay at this hotel.

Le seul NH en Italie qui m'a déplu, alors que cette chaîne est très bonne. Immeuble fatigué, accueil sans plus, j'ai été mal servi parce que je ne parlais pas italien, car tout italien qui venait demander quelque chose était servi immédiatement. Je n'ai pas du tout apprécié. La chambre avait une déco sombre et sale, très fatiguée. Aucun service proposé mais en plus il fallait payer 3€ la petite bouteille d'eau quand c'est en général offert gratuitement. Bruyant car la chambre donnait sur la rue de circulation voiture. Elle était trop chaude à 26 degrés et le thermostat ne fonctionnait plus. Bref encore une chambre pourrie que l'on refile au touriste pigeon de l'étranger. Le petit déjeuner était bien mais non généreux, sans plus par rapport aux autres NH, en plus le service de table est bruyant, ranger en jetant fourchette assiette brutalement en faisant des bruits insupportables, ça commence mal la journée. L'hôtellerie à Catane est la pire de toute la Sicile, il faut vraiment penser à moderniser, à changer le personnel dont l'accueil date d'une autre époque.

The hotel was about 15 to 20 mins walk from the center but it is located in a nice area with shopping and restaurants around within a few blocks. Service was good and breakfast was nice quality too.

We stayed here two nights, at the start and end of our trip to Siracusa. Reception staff are exceptional. Friendly, engaging and helpful. A different team on each visit. They stand out in sharp contrast to other hotels' staff on this trip (Seville and Siracusa). As a result, we are already thinking of NH Catania as a base for a future trip, with day trips to Siracusa etc., returning in the evenings to NH. The rooms are spotless as are the bathrooms. Pod coffee machine. Excellent WiFi. Fridge and a safe. Very quiet. The bed linen was crisp and the bed extremely comfortable. The Alibus from the airport stops almost at the hotel door. To return to the airport, you take the same bus as it goes on a loop. 30 minutes journey each way. On our first night in Catania, I mentioned to the driver that I wanted Piazza Trento stop. He called it out as we approached. Busses to and from the station also stop on Piazza Trento. Other busses from the station stop close by - so there are options. We had a delicious dinner at Il Pozzo around the corner. Busy Bar Trento, diagonally across the Piazza from the hotel, has great coffee, a wide array of delicious pastries and friendly staff. I cannot recommend NH Catania Centro highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Excellent location! Walking distance to main historical views at the city centre! Very polite English speaking staff, spacious rooms cleaned daily! Lastly, but really noticeable- the wonderful breakfast! Every morning we could enjoy not only the standard options, but exclusive examples from the Sicilian cuisine! During our stay we tried the restaurant for dinner a couple of times- excellent service again with a personal attitude! "NH Centro Catania", thank you for your effort! We will visit you again!

My room was really big, clean, and with everything I needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a long time. Breakfast and amenities were good. Location of the hotel was perfectly fine - walking distance to everything you would want to visit in Catania, just not on top of any of it. Approximately 20 minute walk from the train station. Good location to get a day tour to Mt Etna from (which I did).
