An amazing private setting and cute cabin 2 bed , 2 baths with big lake views on 13 private acres, yet it’s 1 mile to Superior and close to several big resorts and Lutsen ski area is one mile .Added a new gas fireplace inside and also has a great fire pit outside. Hooked up the WiFi to go with the satellite TV. Great for small families as it is close to lots of fun things to do at the ski area and near golf course too.This cabin, (Superior views ) is very comfortable for smaller groups. It features one large bedroom, a 2ND bedroom Split from Master with a Queen bed and single bed. It has two bathrooms, one big full bathroom and a 2nd half bath , a full-size kitchen and living area plus an attached garage. There is also a screen porch and a deck, both with big views of Lake Superior. The main bedroom also with lake views .The cabin ideally accommodates a family of up to 5 people.* This property backs up to the Minnesota State Scientific and Natural area and hundreds of acres of private land. It is very close to the ski area, golf course and many great restaurants.The screen porch is a wonderful place to listen to the animal sounds (but not be in a tent). Hiking trails, mountain biking paths, berry picking areas, access to lakes and rivers are all nearby and much more - the owner will be happy to help you figure out what fun things you might want to do. Fairway Pines Lodge is a 2,000 square foot log cabin located on the 5th fairway of Superior National Golf Course and is less than a 5 minute drive to the Lutsen Mountains gondola and ski area. It is also a 5 minute walk to North Shore Winery. The cabin has been designed to be a relaxing getaway and for enjoying the North Shore and is close to many activities on the North Shore.Key Updates:- In March 2025, we installed a mini-split air conditioner and heat pump (see pictures).- We replaced the deck in October, 2025 (see pictures). We'll have full updated pictures coming in 2026.The cabin has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms with sleeping availability for 10. Just past the great room is a four season porch, which has its own heating source and can stay warm in the winter months. The four season porch also includes a new pull-out couch with a queen size gel foam mattress.There is a large deck with four new Adirondack chairs as well as a dining table and chairs providing a relaxing space for guests to unwind after a day exploring the North Shore. Here you will also find a gas grill. Just past the deck is a firepit for the group to enjoy. Bedrooms include the following:Master bedroom on the main floor. It has a king bed and en suite bathroom, which includes a jetted soaking tub.Two bedrooms on the second floor and each have queen beds. There is also a shared full bathroom on the second floor.Just outside the second floor bedrooms is a loft, which includes a pull-out couch with a queen size gel foam mattress. The mattress also includes a pillow-top mattress cover.For those traveling with children, we have worked to make the cabin kid friendly. We have two pack 'n plays, a high chair, kid friendly tableware and flatware, night lights, and a number of games.A twin inflatable mattress is also available for guest use.The cabin has one exterior camera mounted on the garage and is pointed towards the driveway.Winter Bookings: The driveway is on an incline and we strongly recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle during the winter months. While snowmobile trailers are allowed, please note the driveway does not have room to turn around a trailer.
