We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters.- There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat for a short term. Log cabins are known for their excellent insulation properties, naturally keeping the cabin cooler in the summer. Opening the windows at night to let in the cool air is a smart way to maintain comfort and enjoy the natural breeze and sounds of the outdoors. -Fall/Winter Please understand, that winters are very cold in Northern Wisconsin. Our log home is large with 35-foot ceilings. It can feel drafty at times and when the temperatures drop the furnaces have a hard time keeping up.
