Welcome to the Lennon Cabin in the foot of the Catskills. Located in the hamlet of Smallwood in Bethel, NY. Home to the Wood Stock of 1969, Bethel has so much to enjoy! We are located 10 minutes from the Bethel Center of the Arts where you can enjoy one of their many concerts, 10 minutes from Lake Superior State park, White Lake (5min) and the Toronto Reservoir (5min) for lake swimming, kayaking, fishing and other water activities. In our private Hamlet our house is walking distance to our community Lake where you can take morning strolls, bike rides or sit by the doc. We also have our own reservoir trail that you can walk to from the house in addition to a dog park and children's play ground. 5 minutes away is the Alton Distillery located on beautiful grounds where you can enjoy their small batch Whiskey or a curated cocktail. 30 minutes away is the Catksill brewery and various downtowns with eclectic water front dining. We are 20 minutes from Kartrite indoor water park and close to many Alpaca farms as well as horseback riding. Come see all that the Lennon cabin has to offer. While there is so much to do in the area, sometimes a stay-cation is what we all really need. Enjoy our cozy cabin, perfect for a couples retreat or small family getaway. Equipped with two comfortable queen size beds, a full kitchen, multiple smart tv's and board games for a relaxing indoor getaway. The river is visible from all areas of the cabin. The river is deeper at times depending on the weather. Fully heated with radiators for cozy days and evenings. Central a/c in the main room and Ceiling fans in every room.The sun-room is our favorite room, as it has french doors that lead to the new large deck with a beautiful view of the river, it’s the perfect spot to spend your days. There are walking trails through the woods nearby including D&H Canal Linear Park, various streams, and dozens of lakes nearby.Sleeping 2, the cute bear-themed cabin has one bedroom and one full bathroom for your convenience. Bedroom six has private access in an attached apartment. It’s perfect for additional guests, in-laws, etc. This apartment also includes a designated office space perfect for working remotely. The apartment suite has it’s own bathroom and kitchen.Please note a few things: there is a pond on the property. It has a working pump and has fish in it. Please supervise your children when they are in the backyard. We provide kayaks ( life jackets must be worn at all times while in use) for your stay but in order to protect our lake we don’t allow outside boats from renters. Our area is a bit rural, but a great escape but know that restaurants, Ubers, delivery services can be a bit of a drive or a bit sparse.Cars are only allowed inside of our fenced acre. No cars should be driven past the entrance gate down the private drive. We are on a private drive with two other homes. Please be respectful of our neighbors. All guests vehicles must be parked inside the gate and not on the private drive that way our neighbors can utilize the private drive. Gate should be kept closed when not in use. Our home is suitable for friends, family, small children and all dogs. Please note that there is a pet fee of $100 for the stay (up to 3 pets). Your dogs can have the run of the place enjoying the entire fenced in acre. PLEASE NOTE: Please write the correct amount of guests when booking.
