Hotel Shivalikview

The room needed to be more clean. And also to be painted again as the walls were damped. The food was good but i got a human hair in the 'halwa. Otherwise the experience was good, the location is excellent.

The only two good points about hotel shivalik view are it's location in central sector 17, and ample parking. It's rooms are old, not well maintained. Mosquitos plenty. Toilet seats not changed for years it seems. Wardrobes call for paint. Towels not so fresh as supposed to be in a hotel. Food quality taste below average. We opted for package with dinner. When we went to 6th floor for dinner, we were told that for package optees, dinner is at ground floor restaurant! funny! this hotel is owned and operated by citco - chandigarh industrial and tourism corporation.

Few issues, washrooms were not good. Broken toilet seat, faul smell in the washroom and i have requested for drinking water 2 times which they have ignored.

Rooms had lot of seepage, entire corridor had seepage, foul smell in rooms, bathrooms doors n tiles very dirty

Great location but this hotel has really old rooms, smell of moisture. My first stay. It is bang on sector 17, lots of shopping places nearby with all connectivity but rooms really need a makeover. Manager is good to help u out but again as I mentioned looks an old property when u come inside ur rooms not from outside.
