Planet Bhaktapur Hotel

I went to Nepal in August 2024 and our entire trip was planned and organized with and thanks to the team of Planet Hotel. All our guides and drivers were from their team and have always been exceptional. The hotel is super clean, the service is excellent and everyone is always so kind. I would recommend to book some nights at Planet Hotel to anyone who is willing to visit Nepal!

Hotel Planet Bhaktapur is situated in a beautiful surrounded by nature place just about ten minutes walk from the town centre. The rooms are spacious and clean with all you may need during your stay (AC, hairdryer, electric kettle, TV). Staff is very kind. Food is delicious and if you have a special request (vegetarian, vegan, jain or whatever), they will prepare it for you. If you need a guide, you can find him in the hotel itself. I had a wonderful very informative tour with Naresh. I had a very positive experience.

We had a restful 2 night stay. The team were so helpful and friendly it made our stay such a pleasure. The nepali set was the best we have had. The bhaktapur yogurt is amazing. This hotel is about a 15 min walk into Bhaktapur and you need to pay 1500.00 rupe at entrance to bhaktapur. Show your passport and if staying longer than a day let them know and they will extend the permit.

Planet Bhaktapur is not a hotel, is a home. It has done wonderful our holiday. The staff was so welcoming, the chef was excellent, and our guide, Naresh, is irreplaceable. It seemed to be in a family. Everything was thrilling. We will come back soon! Thank's for everything!

I spent few days at the Planet Bhaktapur with my grown up children late August and this was the best choice we could make for our very first trip to Nepal! Francesco was precious for planning our 10 days stay in Nepal, with his competence and his loving attitude towards towards this Country he never made us feel simply tourists ... Naresh, who guided us for few days, was a highlight ... he not only gave us information on temple monasteries and building but he introduced us to the history and to the world of Hinduism and Buddhism so we could understand little bit more about some of the religious rituals we had the chance to participate and to the everyday local traditions. Planet is a lovely family style hotel where, from the very first moment you arrive, you feel at home ... staff is friendly and kind and takes good care of you, drivers and mountain guides are great, rooms are spacious and cleaned every day and, if needed, there is a very useful laundry service. Food is hand made and delicious!! Location is great, only 10 minutes walking to the centre of beautiful Bhaktapur. We found Planet the perfect spot for our holiday and we look forward to going back for a trekking holiday!

I really enjoyed staying at the Planet. we found here an informal and relaxed atmosphere, a very helpful staff and excellent cuisine ( we had here the best dal bat of the country). They also plan wonderful tours across the country, which we joined. An excellent choice Indeed. Visiting unknown corners and off the traditional tourist routes was exciting. Our driver Kiran was exceptional. He professionally drove us to Pokhara, Chitwan and Kathmandu. I will recommend this experience to everyone want to visit Nepal. Thanks again planet staff!

Great experience. Location is perfect. Just 10 minutes walk to old town and temples. Beautiful garden! Nice room with great view over the valley. And most of all: great service from lovely family who run this place. Absolutely recommended.

Just Perfect. I know that things can't be Perfect, except for God, but I m not able to find something wrong in Planet Bhaktapur. Room clean, Amazing garden, accurate service, good food... This Is the client point of view... But I dont feel anymore this Place as a hotel, I think about as Home! Naresh, Bishnu, Raw Been, Puja, Rajaram and Rajan, Kiran, Amrit, Oneil... They are a family and they let you feel home. The Planet organize tour a d experience all over Kathmandu Valley and your staying there Will be something else. Top

IT IS A HOTEL WITH A PURELY FAMILY ATMOSPHERE! THE STAFF IS VERY KIND, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE ROOM IS COMFORTABLE AND IS TIDIED UP AND CLEANED CAREFULLY EVERY DAY. CHANGE OF TOWELS DAILY. THE ROOM IS EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING, WHICH IS ESSENTIAL FOR GOOD COMFORT IN A TROPICAL CLIMATE. VERY NICE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL GARDEN. THE FACILITY IS CLEAN AND THE LOCATION IS VERY GOOD. THE FOOD IN THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD AND WE WERE ABLE TO TRY SOME TYPICAL NEPALESE DISHES WITH SATISFACTORY RESULT. EXCELLENT SERVICE OFFERED BY THE DRIVER AND GUIDE WHO ACCOMPANIED US ON EXCURSIONS IN BHAKTHAPUR & KATHMANDU. (T. and E. Italy)
