Bluegreen Vacations King Street Resort Ascend Hotel Collection

Great location on King Street. Close to restaurants, bars, shops, museums, etc. Fifth floor unit was away from the busy street nightlife noise. Was huge with a kitchenette, living room, and huge bathroom. Resort was in excellent condition. Everything seemed fresh and new. Nice little courtyard on the second floor with a fire pit and comfortable seating. Valet parking was convenient. Staff were exceptional, especially Allyson, Sam, and Mirza. Would definitely stay here again. Easy to take a pedi-cab or Uber to get to destinations that may be too far to walk. We went to Fort Sumter and easily walked back to the resort though.

A beautiful place to stay but most importantly... the customer service we received from one of the front desk people was second to none. Mirza was fairly new and just learning... but her personality and eagerness to please guests made her my favorite person. Unfortunately, her supervisor or trainer kept interrupting and budding in... seemingly trying to upstage her. Mirza always has the biggest smile and is always ready to help. If everyone at 583 King had as great a personality as Mirza, they would be the best place to stay in Charleston! Keep up the good work!

Never even got to try the hotel. Armani was very rude to us out front when we were getting stuff out of the car. We were parked in the loading zone and she wouldn’t back down on telling us we had to move even though it was not their parking spot. After being spoken to by her like that I will make sure I let everyone know to never step foot inside of there. 0 stars for customer service and that’s all it takes for me.

Located between multiple bars with loud music until 3 am! If you don’t need sleep - it will work for you. Hated the location and did not sleep the entire trip! Make sure to read all reviews before booking.

The units is on the 2nd floor, entry to the unit is geted, there was a homeless man sitting outside the gate and on our entry a dirty garbage bins welcomed us, no sign on the door that said units were upstairs, usa “stairs”…location is ok but I would avoid this property and stay closer to the market area

Thank you to Craig Hunter for helping us with valet parking while we were at the resort. You really don’t need a car to get around either, the bus is free. If we had only figured that out on day one, but at least my smart watch was happy with over 10k in steps.

There is constant, vibrating, thudding so called “music” coming into the rooms from the bar/restaurant 2 doors down. It’s really annoying—maddening,even. If you are going to go out every day and stay out and if you don’t mind having to use earplugs to be able to sleep (they are open and noisy until 2 a.m. on weekends), you might enjoy the nice rooms. The studio deluxe is nice, with a small , pretty good kitchen with a big fridge. This will be out last stay here. We don’t appreciate this kind of intrusiveness. The counter folks said they have tried to get something done about the noise, but technically the noise regulations are letting the bar continue to demo this. Phooey.

We received excellent valet service at the Blue Green during our stay from Craig Hunter. Would definitely recommend this service to others. The drop off and pick up service was both quick and very convenient.

At King 583 Bluegreen Vacations in Charleston, S.C., the valet service attendant, Craig Hunter, not only did an exceptional job of unloading our fully loaded car, carried our luggage up to our room and settled us, in addition to parking our car! This young man truly worked to his utmost, as if we were the only guests!
