86 Cannon Historic Inn - Adults Only

The Garden Suite was large, beyond well appointed and “Charleston” through and through. Parking right outside the suite was a big plus. The owners and staff were welcoming, thoughtful and full of great recommendations, like dinner at Chubby Fish, a short walk away.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here as part of our "babymoon" and it was the perfect stay. The rooms are exquisite and so much attention to detail is paid. The pictures hardly do it justice. The provided continental breakfast with homemade everything and the 5pm wine and cheese hour are all added perks. It is close enough to walk everywhere, but also on a quiet side street. The inn keepers are very attentive and even kindly upgraded our room as a nice surprise. I'd also pay to learn what they pump into the vents because it smells like orange or jasmine and it's wonderful.

Do yourself a favor and book a trip to beautiful 86 Cannon! They say love is in the details, and that is certainly evident in this spectacular place. Quiet location, yet convenient to shopping and restaurants. Impeccable staff, beyond helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful, true to the charm and history of the buildings, yet with every modern updated convenience. Daily breakfast on the veranda was a highlight, as was the complementary wine and cheeseboard from 5 to 6 daily. We took advantage of every nook, in every common area, of which there were many- beautiful, interesting, comfortable settings, from the courtyard gardens to the third floor lounge, to the verandas. We enjoyed utilizing the sweet bikes for a short ride around the area. We also particularly appreciated having a designated parking space. The linens, the decor, the bath amenities, all superb! Beautiful place! Room was amazing - very comfortable beds! The concierge services provided were perfect. We enjoyed the extra perks of breakfast and afternoon wine. If you are looking for a peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee on the patio or just to relax and get away, 86 Cannon is the spot!

My favorite place to stay in Charleston! Love the attention to every little detail. The pool is gorgeous! Fantastic staff! Walk to all the best restaurants and shops with King Street just a few blocks away. And you can park right on the property with no valet. Super easy!

The location is perfect for a quiet getaway but still in walking distance to shopping on King Street and visiting historic sites. There are several restaurants nearby. Vehicle parking available at facility was great. We never had to wait for our vehicle (as I have read reviews about long wait times for local hotels valet parking) nor did we worry about damage/theft. We didn't use our vehicle much as we enjoyed walking or caught an Uber for peace of mind due to the limited parking available. The facility is so welcoming and our room always smelled amazing when we returned from exploring Charleston. Our room was very clean, refreshed and restocked each day without even asking. The bed and linens are so comfortable. The shower felt like a spa especially with the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. The special touches like delicious breakfast, wine and cheese every evening, and chocolates left at our door were wonderful. The communication through texting was so convenient. Alana made our stay extra special! She shared great recommendations for local spots to visit and tips for navigating through the city. True hospitality. All of the staff was accommodating and professional. 86 Cannon ensured our honeymoon was amazing. We definitely plan to return.

86 Cannon is an absolute gem! Wonderful Inn and wonderful team of people that make every aspect of your stay cozy and thoughtful!! We will be back again & again & again! Lovely rooms, gorgeous porches, amazing staff, delicious breakfast and a very happy hour!! We loved every moment in our home away from home!

Was not impressed at all, I would recommend not wasting money. It seems like this establishment could use some building code enforcement updates. We also did not understand the clear paths of egress in this establishment and trying to park was impossible on a busy street.

86 Cannon is in the best location with finest accommodations and warmest hospitality in all of Charleston! A treat to visit for a special occasion or anytime. The hospitality team is knowledgeable and helpful and the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast and happy hour are included and delicious!
