It was horrible staying in the hotel. Really dirty and old, we did not even want to take a shower over there. Carpet are old with smell. It says breakfast are included but nothing much to eat and no space to sit. We have to wait for almost 30mins for our seat. Also, we were asked for wait for lobby until 3pm in order to check in, and the service at the front desk was horrible

It was convinient & within walking distance to all the things downtown.. Very quiet & safe area to stay in.

This was my first stay at the Hotel on Pownal and I really enjoyed it! The area is great and convenient to the downtown. The staff is friendly and my room was perfect for just me :)

Photos looked much better but youre stuck right beside housing with a small alleyway where random people can look in your window ( the bottom pane is frosted so thats a good thing ). I had one room that was clean i thought but upon leaving we noticed our white bedsheets and pillow cases and pillows had stains. The top sheets were clean but we had removed the sheets to make it easier for the maid to clean and thats when we noticed all of the stains on the fitted sheets and pillows under the pillow cases. There was another room i originally was supposed to be in however it honestly smelled musky had stained carpet.
We only had to stay one night normally never complain or anything but I really would never go back and i dont find myself someone who needs a high standard hotel.
Didnt say anything and checked out as we only used the hotel to sleep at and left early

We stay at this hotel every time we stay in Charlottetown. It’s always very clean and wonderful staff. We love the design of the rooms as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant staff: courteous, helpful, & attentive. The hallway of the Conference suites has awful smell due to poor ventilation, may benefit from airing even just for 30 minutes daily. The room also has the same odor. Generally, the suites were clean. Only the air quality of the corridor was the concern.

Overall disappointing.
Rooms were nice but breakfast was terrible.
Main breakfast item was over before the end time and they prepared scrambled eggs as a workaround replacement item but that was made with spoiled eggs as those scrambled eggs were so smelly.
When mentioned to the reception during checkout they didn't think there was any problem.
If one is considering staying here for breakfast the ln I wouldn't recommend. There are better options 2-3 km from downtown

The front staff were all excellent - so kind. You need to do something about those pillows - so ridiculously puffy - allow alternate options - no sleep for many nights!
