We walked into the restaurant @7pm following the Désalpes at Charmey (plenty of empty tables) and were warmly greeted. However, as the evening progressed, it was marred by a poor table service, constant flies around our food on the table, and incomplete food order, and a male waiter - who we felt had a very unpleasant & inappropriate attitude. When he asked for feedback, he then proceeded to argue... Unacceptable.

Don't eat or drink at the restaurant. Their bar client is very bothering. My husband and I stopped eating and left because of a sexist and ****** drunk at the bar. Definetely we won't come back. We are sorry for the employees.

We stayed at the hotel and had a dinner in October 2021. We decided to come and stay in this hotel, because we had a lunch last year and it was exceptionally good. However, on both times, we had unpleasant experiences with staffs. Last year, we were billed incorrect amount and had to explain to correct it. This year, we used a coupon for the dinner and were told it cannot be done. Everything was ensured and OKed (for all the benefits comes with the coupon) at the time of check in, but somehow, we were complained by the waiter at the restaurant that it cannot be done. In the end, the waiter's claim was not true and we did not have any issues with the coupon nor payment. However, it was not pleasant and my hope to have a fun birthday dinner was not realised.

Joli hôtel, bien situé, à 5 min à pied des bains de Charmey, personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Salle du repas très agréable et joliment décorée. Le repas concocté par le chef Rouissi était excellent. Chambre sur route un peu bruyante. Je recommande cet établissement.

Séjour parfait, personnel aux petits soins, très souriant. Chambre très jolie. Le repas du chef Rouissi était un vrai régal, à ne pas manquer. Ambiance très agréable au restaurant. Parking gratuit à côté de l’hôtel. L’hôtel se trouve non loin des bains de Charmey. Je n’hésiterai pas à revenir et je recommande cet hôtel.

Je tenais à vous remercier pour le séjour parfait que nous avons passé dans votre établissement. Tout était parfait, du service, au choix des produits du petit-déjeuner en passant par la literie. Bravo et merci ! Nous vous recommanderons très volontiers.

Le petit déjeuner est simple mais avec des ingrédients de bonne qualité (la moutarde de la Bénichon a été très appréciée). En revanche, salle de bain très petite et mal entretenue : "grille" d'évacuation de la douche descellée risquant de blesser les pieds, barre de fixation de la paroi de douche démontée, flexible qui fuit, pas de tapis de douche, ce qui rend le sol glissant; il n'y a rien pour se cramponner... Oreiller très mou : la tête s'enfonce complètement et n'est pas du tout soutenue. Propreté de la literie correcte, mais le sol mériterait un panossage de temps en temps (après trois pas, les pieds sont sales...). La photo présentée comme étant la chambre réservée ne correspond pas du tout ! Une augmentation des tarifs de plus de 30% durant les vacances de Pâques ! Les remarques ci-dessus présentées verbalement à l'hôtesse d'accueil n'ont suscité aucune réaction, même pas un "désolé". L'amabilité de cette personne s'est vraiment limitée à un minimum syndical.

Le vrais charme d'un petit hôtel traditionnel à Charmey. Le rdc est un lieux de vie qui rassemble la réception, le bar et le coin café du restaurant sous l'œil attentif de l'équipe. Le restaurant prend le virage d'un restaurant traditionnel mais avec une touche de modernisme maîtrisé. Le chef travail avec éthique. Le bar et le restaurant est un lieux de rencontre local qui faite côtoyer les personnes de la petite ville et les touristes de passage. Les chambre sont fraiches dans un décor traditionnel. Position centrale à deux pas des Bains de Gruyère. Je conseil a ceux qui recherche la touche local conviviale vis à vis d'une grande structure hôtelière voisine plus impersonnel. Possibilité de faire son check in et check out complet en ligne laissant le place à la discussion lors de l'accueil et le départ. Cet hôtel a sa place dans le paysage local. Merci

Hôtel super ! Nous avons eu un accueil au top du début à la fin. Le restaurant était très bon. Tout a été fait pour que nous soyons bien, surtout avec un bébé. Parking à proximité, très pratique. Petit bémol, literie un peu molle et chambre un peu petite pour 3. Mais nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Je recommande !
