Located on a roundabout so very noisy.
No aircon and it is a really hot hotel, so hot they don’t bother supplying duvets.
Breakfast was v poor, rehydrated mushrooms, cheap sausages, coffee machine was broken, the juice dispenser was filled with water…..
Not impressed, please don’t waste your money staying here.

Cheap and nasty unfortunately. Just about palettable for one night but unless you are desperate, go elsewhere. The room was pretty dirty and had stains etc. Not good enough

I have stayed here for 3 nights with my little dachshund. We have received the best service, all the ladies here are lovely. Dawn and Debbie during the day have been amazing help and Millie and Sophie who was on evening shift was so helpful. Can’t remember the rest of names but everyone from Thursday through the whole weekend have been amazing. So thank you will be back again :)

Very professional and friendly staff. I recently stayed at Travelodge Chelmsford, and I must say, the reception team exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The check-in process was seamless and quick, and the staff were amazing.

No one at reception to greet us. Kitchen was closed so no hot food available. Staff did their best but were poorly trained at customer service

Perfect location, good value for the money, comfortable bed and lovely staff in Chelmsford. I recommend it.

We only stayed one night and despite low ratings in the reviews ,we found this travelodge to be clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and location was good. A socket by the bed and larger bedside shelves would have been good, but we were given an extension lead which was helpful. We had to pay for parking which was annoying and despite having a Blue Badge for our disabled daughter there was no concession. However this didn’t spoil our stay.

Stayed for 2 nights for a graduation ceremony. Staff were super friendly and check-in was very flexible. Rooms did have a funny smell , but left the window open and it was fine after that. Easy parking. Close enough to center to walk if we wanted.
