I was lucky enough to stay at No. 38 during a recent visit to family in Cheltenham. Located just a short walk from the city center and opposite a beautiful park, No. 38 offers a touch of luxury that everyone deserves every now and then. The shared spaces, including the lounge, dining room, and bar, are stylishly designed and very inviting. The bedrooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and furnished with high-quality products. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, while the bathroom was well-appointed. There is parking available right out front, though I did not need to use it, and I did not avail myself of either breakfast or dinner at No. 38 although these are offered. The only downside was the lack of a lift, so I had to carry my heavy bag up the stairs, although it was only to the first floor.

Beautiful surroundings and great ambience. Staff very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Somewhere different to dine with fantastic food. Will definitely go again.

We had the most delicious three course meal and a cocktail each. Each course was packed with flavours and was beautifully presented. Service was excellent and everything was very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food which is alike to fine dining Great vegetarian options and the menu was informative giving detail info about each dish

We dined at No38 The Park on Mothering Sunday. My daughter booked for 4 of us. What a truly amazing afternoon we had, the ambiance, service and food was incredible. I can not fault any part of the experience. Well done & thank you team 38.

We had a very nice stay over the weekend couldn’t fault a think. Perfect location right by a large park and massive lake. Close to the town center, we got some coffees from reception to take with us on a walk. Cute little terrace for drinks We had dinner on the Saturday night the food was delicious and service was spot on, was very cool to be able to see the chefs working away from our table. Breakfast on the Sunday was busy but we were seated and served straight away. Lots of options.

Amazing hotel, love the interior design with comfy lounge. Our room, a superior double was fabulous with everything we needed the sweet treat and tipple of port was a nice touch. The restaurant was closed on a Sunday so we walked a short journey to the town where we ate at Sef Steakhouse [highly recommend). The staff at No 38 were all so friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious with I’d say was locally sourced ingredients but not sure thank you Hotel 38 we had a great time

No 38 The Park was very relaxing, the rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The food is delicious and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a fabulous place to stay. Thank you

Absolutely fabulous location in a residential area at the bottom of Pittville Park. Very nice sitting room and bar. (Unfortunately it was occupied for most of one day by two very loud men drinking coffee and laughing.) Good breakfast (we wished we'd booked it with our room.) An excellent dinner--although it took a while with only one cook in the kitchen. We chose "A Very Good" room. It was small with no comfortable chair--but the receptionist kindly brought up a padded dining chair which served us well. (I strongly recommend the management add a comfortable chair--there is room!) The "Excellent" rooms weren't much bigger and had large claw-foot tubs in them, which took up a lot of space--so we were glad we didn't book one of them. No facial tissues. No space in bathroom to set things. Housekeepers were quite noisy. Overall a nice stay but not perfect.

The room was exactly as described and provided a fantastic experience for a nice break away. The breakfast is amazing and the staff were very helpful at all times nothing was to much trouble for them. Clean comfortable relaxing room immediately springs to mind if you are visiting Cheltenham you must visit No 38 The Park
