位置不錯，近小鎮中心，周邊有不少吃海鮮、炸雞的店，房間整潔，床亦舒服，早餐尚可，衹是淋浴設備不盡人意，水小。

鎮上最大的店了，房間算蠻大了。 價格不算便宜，這個季節。

This establishment is poorly run. Their website is not effectively designed. Especially for mobile devices. Their cancelation policy is ridiculous and not online with reputable establishments. I would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

This place is to be avoided at all costs. The rooms and public spaces bear no resemblance to the photos on this site. The room we were allocated had mould on the walls and round the windows. The atmosphere in the room was dank and moist. There were yellow stains on the bed covers. Windows were sealed so the place could not be aired. It was disgusting- we could not stay there, it was a health hazard

This place is stuck in the 1960’s (not in a cool retro-way) and is kind of a dump. Rugs in the hallways are dotted with stains; (kept my shoes on in the room); everything smells musty-mildew (especially the hotel lobby), mold on the bathroom ceiling, no elevator to the rooms on the 2nd floor. Buffet breakfast was ok. Sheets and towels seemed clean. There aren’t many hotels to choose from in Chéticamp and this one certainly wouldn’t be my first choice.

I don't usually review places. However, I feel the owners need to hear how to improve the property and service. I also want to give people a heads up on what to expect. First, they don't allow those staying in the 2 bedroom cottage to have complimentary breakfast. Why? 2 people in the cottage or in a hotel room ...what's the difference? They do not supply the cottage with pots, pans, etc. so you can fix breakfast there. Checking the cottage after check-in, we had to go back to the lobby and ask for a coffee maker, kitchen linens, etc. There were old sponges in the sink. We cleaned every dish and cup and silverware before we used them.There was supposed to be an ice bucket. We never found it. As mentioned in other reviews, the windows were filthy. Several of them either did not open or had no way to stay open. The screen door needs to be replaced. Here again, we could not leave the door open to enjoy the air because of the screen door.We found bugs mainly in the bathroom but also in the kitchen. The house had good space. The TV was nice. Complicated to work. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean.There were plenty of towels. Would not stay here again

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom actually had a 2-person jacuzzi. For an older hotel, parts of it look dated but seem to be kept in good shape. Although short, my stay there went without any issues. Staff were friendly.

The musty, moldy smell in the room was absolutely unbearable. If we had some other place to stay for the night we would have left. I would caution anyone to avoid staying at Laurie's due to air quality concerns. Never again!

Great quiet room, big and comfortable beds, refridgerator and cable tv, good for a stop along the Trail or as a wayfarer's hq for exploring the interior of Cape Breton. Right in the heart of the Acadian region, I definitely recommend this hotel. Great breakfast too!
