Blissful stay,whole family had a peaceful and wonderful time, great service clean and well maintained property staffs are good and overall felt home😊view from rooms were great and its inside coffee estate which makes it very special 🤗kids enjoyed the pool and indoor activities,food can be bit more authentic,but overall it was a great stay

HIDDEN GEM IN COFFE PLANTATIONS We stayed at Sliver sky resort for new year eve from 31st dec to 3rd Jan. We stumbled upon Silver sky by chance, we had a wonderful stay, new year eve gala was well organized and fun filled, we even won lucky draw ( prize was free one nights stay for couple ) The resort is just 11 months old, very well maintained, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, and quality of furniture and amenities ware of top class, comparable to top resorts we visited in Maldives. The resort is amidst the coffee plantation with beautiful view of mullayanagiri peak( 45 min drive form resort ) from room balcony, you can spend whole day in balcony with a book in hand, resort is 20 min from chiakkamagalur city with good road accessibility. The pool was kept clean, couldn't use it much because of cold weather, but the play room kept us busy after breakfast and dinner. Food was great Chef Ashok was of grest help in getting the food tailored to the palates my European wife and kids and restaurant staff Eshwar, shivanand service was top class. the front office staff ***i and Pratap ware always ready to help us. We got a chance to meet the owner and ***aging director , she was a very nice lady, with preference for good service rather than money, rare to see in these days. We loved the place so much we extended our stay for one more day, we left the place with good memories hoping to return to Silver sky again in the near future. Pros : Easy accessibility, well maintained, spacious rooms, good service and tasty food Cons : Nothing i can think of , may be a heated pool ( May not be practical for south indian weather ) Room advise - Choose a higher elevation room for good views.

Beautiful property, very clean, hospitable staff, spacious rooms and toilets, amazing food - what else do you want on a vacation?? Would request you to build a heated pool. If you are looking for a lazy vacation, this place is definitely the place where you should be going

Nice place to visit amidst coffee estates. Nice staff and service. Good hospitality. It will be more fun if you implement some more indoor and outdoor games. Rooms are very good, well maintained and Hygenic. Food quality is also fine.

I’m writing this review with u**ost gratitude for the staff of the property. They are extremely humble, polite with a smile on their face at all times of the day. They were more than happy to accommodate our requests which makes this property a must visit! There was a magic show on one of the days and residents with kids seemed happy so it’s definitely a great place for big families! The rooms are very well maintained. I loved the classy decor and furnishings. They’ve taken care of every small detail, complimentary nibbles for your evening/morning tea, a smart TV for late night Netflix, hot water at all times and a relaxing shower area! My rooms balcony was overlooking the hills and it was the most beautiful view! The food at the restaurant is fresh, and delicious. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had varied varieties of food! Special thanks to Shivaraj who was the most welcoming staff member, he is knowledge of coffee plantation is commendable! He took us for a tour to the coffee plantation at the property and to see the passion in his eyes for his town was really lovely. Great job! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Resort is nicely located in the midst of coffee estate with lush full of greenery which calms your eyes as well as your mind, food was great and there was a walk around the estate with a detailed explanation about each tree and plants found ***** the way ( props to Shivraj). Overall an excellent getaway and be with the nature.

Silver sky resort and spa is a great place for vacation if you want to get out of the city traffic and chaos !...I had been to the property with my family (spouse and 2 kids ) on 1st week of May for couple of days. I had stayed in Silver Ignots category. It is brand new property with elegance. Very Well maintained and ***aged by Mr. Chetan ( Owner). The cottages are luxuriously and you have different categories based on your budget. The balcony offers nice views of the coffee estates and Mullayangiri hillrock. Front office staff are friendly and courteous . Specail Thanks to Mr. ***i for arranging Jeep for Mullayangiri Hillrock visit. The highlight of the stay was the multicuisine food which was very delicious and as good as any 5 star hotel experience. The food spread is decent. The restaurant staff including the chefs are extremely friendly and served us the best food. Great hospitality and service. The housekeeping staff were quick and prompt. Special mention on Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Sivanand and other staff members. The resort has got a nice swimming pool , Kids play area, Some indoor games and Outdoor games ( few adventure activities) , Spa and a small GYM. Overall beautifully craved out cottages midst nature. Overall it was a very memorable stay and I would highly recommend for family vacation with kids for couple of days.

Situated at the base of the Mullayangiri hillock, the Silversky resort and spa happens to be a great destination. After being to Chikmagalur ***y times before (including The Taj and The Serai), our expectations for the place were high. We were pleasantly surprised by the property. It is a brand new resort with elegance and chic. Approach road is decent and all cars can reach the resort easily. Parking is spacious and within the property premises. The cottages are luxuriously appointed with large glass panes and beautiful balconies. The balcony offers nice views of the coffee estates. Amenities inside the cottage are top notch and there is hardly any room for complaints. Children and child-like adults will love the ambience, the swimming pool and the kids play area. Indoor games are also available which increase the essence of the holiday mood. The lobby is decent with graphic motifs. Front office staff are friendly and courteous and are always ready to help. The multicuisine dining area is bathed in soft lighting and is spacious. The highlight of the stay was the scrumptious multicuisine food which was superlative - which is as good as any 5 star hotel would have. One can actually revisit purely for the delicious food they serve. The spread is extensive and the buffet is lavish. Breakfast, especially the south Indian and local items were extremely good. The restaurant staff including the chefs were friendly and eager to serve us the best food. Great hospitality and service. The housekeeping staff were quick and prompt. The rooms were kept spic and span. Room service is also prompt. The whole property was also kept very clean. We had a windy evening and the next day, the foliage was quickly swept and the premises was brought back to normal. In summary, a place worth visiting over and over again. Our thanks to the whole silversky team for a memorable stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. Let me summarise my experience for everyone’s reference. Merits: 1. Property premise is well spread near the foothills of Mullayanagiri Peak, containing tons of pepper and coffee plantations, which makes it an ideal setting for people seeking seclusion from the town and ***y Homestay’s that are located in the vicinity. 2. Connectivity and distance from prominent visiting spots is fair and reasonable from an drivers perspective. (Being a driver myself, its my POV) 3. Infrastructure and design element of the property, in general, is quite upmarket and appealing. (We stayed in 2 Silver Ignots cottage) De-merits: 1. The food and preparation of dishes in general has lot of area for improvement. Reason: We were part of CP i.e. breakfast and stay plan. So whatever we ordered for lunch or dinner from the menu, wasn’t tasting great or lip smacking/scrumptious in my opinion. Even the breakfast buffet spread was very ordinary from a 4 star property standards and definitely lacked variety, not just flavours. 2. Major letdown for us was the hospitality by the ***agement and staff. Nobody was concerned or bothered about our convenience or experience and this happened throughout our stay for 3 days over there. The whole sense of being little giving and carrying that caring attitude was totally missing, let alone communicating or taking feedback from the guests. 3. I’ve personally stayed at ***y 4 and 5 star properties in the past but all the property staff over there had one thing in common i.e. generosity and being highly attentive to guests requirement. However, in an shocking incident over here, one of the staff member was immediately asked to clear the refreshment drinks from the common area, as soon as we took second 80ml serving of lemonade post our outdoor visit. I mean, this was so silly! It felt like we are stealing something from their compound or kitchen, for which we are not entitled. Long story short, I would personally rate this property as 3/5, based on my experience.
